AC Milan have been urged to sign French striking sensation Karim Benzema by respected football agent Claudio Pasqualin.

The Rossoneri are really struggling in Serie A at the moment and are languishing in 12th position in the table, a gigantic 25 points behind league-leaders Inter.

A key reason for these struggles has been a lack of goals, with Milan only scoring three times at home this campaign.

Filippo Inzaghi has not scored in Serie A since January of this year, Alberto Gilardino has still failed to convince that he is capable to play at the highest level, while Ronaldo has made just one appearance this season due to injury.

This has led to reports that Milan may look to sign a striker during the January transfer window, and Pasqualin believes they should move for Lyon star Benzema.

"It's hard to find the right reinforcement for a team that does not need it,” Pasqualin said.

“The Frenchman, however, would increase the potential of any team."

The 20-year-old Benzema is widely regarded as one of the most explosive talents in European football and he is admired by a host of European giants, including Inter, Juventus, Arsenal and Real Madrid.

All I know is I haven't seen a player hyped as much as Pato. not even Gago, Higuain, etc. if it's no hype, then it's alright with me. I'm waiting for his 30 goals...

I don't know how people outside of Milan have received what's been said for Pato but as a Milan fan I know it was not all serious. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't feature against Napoli or after that, would you?

Anyway, Pato IS hyped up no doubt and unfortunately this is what happens with all the young players who can kick the ball in a fancy way. This is what Filip was talking about.

It's even better, I know that our management made some mistakes this season, but what has this to do with my statement that the Galacticos era for football isn't over?
