AC Milan have been urged to sign French striking sensation Karim Benzema by respected football agent Claudio Pasqualin.

The Rossoneri are really struggling in Serie A at the moment and are languishing in 12th position in the table, a gigantic 25 points behind league-leaders Inter.

A key reason for these struggles has been a lack of goals, with Milan only scoring three times at home this campaign.

Filippo Inzaghi has not scored in Serie A since January of this year, Alberto Gilardino has still failed to convince that he is capable to play at the highest level, while Ronaldo has made just one appearance this season due to injury.

This has led to reports that Milan may look to sign a striker during the January transfer window, and Pasqualin believes they should move for Lyon star Benzema.

"It's hard to find the right reinforcement for a team that does not need it,” Pasqualin said.

“The Frenchman, however, would increase the potential of any team."

The 20-year-old Benzema is widely regarded as one of the most explosive talents in European football and he is admired by a host of European giants, including Inter, Juventus, Arsenal and Real Madrid.

it's quite obvious our pathetic transfer policy over the past few years has come back to haunt us, now that were so desperate for reinforcements teams know they can rip us off or at least try. guys like essien, diarra, went for around 25 m and IMO are much better and much more proven than benzema, i mean lyon asked for quite a bit for those players but never this much and it's not like the inflation has gone 25-30% in 2 years...
