I remember the Mourinho debate generated some heated arguments (with some getting personal), and the thread subsquently closed. But I believe it is a worthy topic, especially now that the Mourinho-to-Milan issue has resurfaced in the media.

Galliani gave an interview to Mediaset (Silvio's network (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) today, prior to the final of the CWC.


He reflected on several topics:

That Milan will play a 4-3-3 formation .. With Kaka' and Seedorf right on Pippo's shoulders. He also commented on Ambro, and how he had been decisive for Milan .. That in 2007, had Galliani been able to do so, he'd have given Massimo Ambrosini an Oscar for his efforts and consistency for Milan and how he was a driving factor in the CL triumph.

Galliani confirmed today that Mourinho wont coach AC Milan. He said that Milan didn't offer Mourinho the job, but it was Mourinho who made it known to the Rossoneri that he was available. But Galliani concurs, that if Milan was going to bring in a new coach, it would definitely be someone from the Rossoneri's past. Galliani also repeats that Carlo Ancelotti has the clubs faith, as his current stats speak loud and clear for all the Milan faithfuls to see.

About Ronaldo .. He said that Ronnie was sad not to be taking part with the team in this second final. And that Ronaldo will be fresh and ready in January, and his contract extension would depend on how he'd do in the second part of the season.
