QUOTE (Forza Milan! @ Mar 6 2015, 02:47 AM) *
Look at it this way: rumor is that if we do not win, Pippo is out and Tassotti takes over. Of course I hope we win, but if that does not happen it may not be all that bad. Tassotti is not my first choice by far, but at this point I think we need a change.

I really do not believe any of those rumours at this point. How many times have we heard the same thing now, we simply have to accept the fact that Pippo will most likely be here until the summer

Diego Lopez; Bonera, Paletta, Bocchetti, Antonelli; Poli, Essien, Bonaventura; Cerci, Destro, Menez

Again Pippo trying to do his worst by not playing Mexes and MvG. And I don't care whether Abate has just recovered. If he's fit he's a better alternative to frigging Bonera.

Yep. Possibly the worst defensive line I might have witnessed as a Milan fan in a competitive Serie A match.

Latest is a 50/50 between Muntari and MVG - no Essien.

I don't think so. Many coaches had problems with him and tried to circumvent him. In the end, Han and you right to say he's the best defender we have and that's why many managers go back to him, but I really don't think we can rely on him any more. IMO he disgraced Milan just like Muntari did, and I don't wanna see both of them playing for us again.

I think you're blowing it out of proportion with both (and that's saying something considering my opinion on Muntari)

Yeah. Balotelli was problematic. Menez is problematic. Players who don't act like professionals but think they're the everything. Mexes might be a hot-head, but so was Ibra, Gattuso etc. He always gives his own and doesn't act like a prima donna. I don't mind that, and I certainly don't find him a bad influence.

Oh, and really? Twitter?

They're solely basing their views on Mexes because of the thousand memes that were created from the Lazio game. Not because they watch him regularly.

And the defender Muntari? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) No where near close!

Huh? I follow plenty of people on twitter who post regularly during games, just because someone has twitter they're less of a fan? Wow.

Putting words in my mouth, you said twitterverse, not friends on twitter who also follow Milan, there's a major difference.

And just because those people don't rate him doesn't mean that others don't. I know many other Milan fans that do. Does that make them wrong because they don't agree with you or your twitterverse?

I don't think he was ever close to decent for us. And yes, I've always believed that he's as bad as I made him out to be with my complaints.

There are players where I can admit that my perception is skewed because I don't like them or their style much, but in this case, no.

I think we've had Muntari doing this to us one too many times now to gloat about it.

What matters is if he's doing the job he's supposed to be doing well, and imo he's been solid defensively. And that's what's important. The goal is just a bonus

Don't do it. Don't bring Destro on for injury time. That's just a slap in the face and what Allegri used to do to you

If you want to hold a result, you pack the midfield, break up play, keep possession.

Instead our defenders were in each others way, they had quite a few chances late. Our attacking players should've just seen the game out instead of shooting all the time.

Well, what can one say at this point?

I think just letting Tasso take over for these last few matches at this point would be for the best. For both parties

Menez being mostly at fault there, so many opportunities where he could have played someone through, but as you so rightly pointed out, he seems like someone playing Fifa with no X button. Just ridiculous

And the subs as you correctly pointed out were also awful and made things worse. Once Bocchetti came on everyone seemed clueless as to what they were supposed to be doing.

Players giving the ball away cheaply in midfield certainly did not help. (I'm looking at you Muntari)

Is there really any point in watching the remainder of the season, I wonder... I know following our games has been a chore and waste of time for a while, but at this point I really cannot find any motivation whatsoever to keep supporting this team.

No analysis from me. Nothing.

Just this stat which sums this up:

Pippo, statistically, is officially our worst manager since 1941.

I've got nothing else to say. No ratings Acid. What the hell is the point?

I completely agree Danny, when we were up 2-1 I said in the last five minutes that we would concede. I thought it would be Toni on a corner so at least there was come surprise in the way that we conceded.
This is becoming tough to watch, its just sad really. Pippo has to go, have to start finding a foundation for next season.

Benching Cerci for Honda, then the inexcusable, Pazzini for Bocchetti. Oh, Pippo... It was as if we were Verona trying to cling to the result against the tougher side.

Please get rid of that signature it's depressing the f**k out of me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Also I have a theory.....Muntari actually has a negative IQ.....since in reality a -ve IQ can exist (much like the fact that there's no "true" negative electrical charge) the collective IQ of both the squad and coach is reduced. This enables me to comprehend the decision to bring on a CB against Verona in the closing stages of the game

Either that or in another universe, their Muntari has more footballing IQ than Dinho, P!rlo and Zidane put together and in order for equilibrium to exist, our Muntari has 0 IQ.

While neither theory is comforting, I can at least sleep easier in the knowledge that the vortex of stupidity is somehow negated.

Well, I have decided to join X in depressed smugness. While I defended Pippo following his appointment, I'm sure every one of you will remember I was dead set against him being made manager. I gave him a chance to prove me wrong, even defending his media displays (X gave up after the Juve match, but I decided to cut a bit more slack), but I'm now done.

I hate to say I told you all so, but I did. Knew this would be a disaster, but it's exceeded even my expectations.

Well to be fair, you didn't want him because you thought he was goos for the primavera because he was doing good there.

In reality no one could have foreseen the disaster he would be

It's almost as if he told Bocchetti to come on and just defend, without having all 3 centre backs knowing what their specific role was. It's like he plays too much FM and thinks throwing on another defender will make defending easier. Without communication, it'll cause more problems than it helps.

By all means, let's give Tassotti a chance. But I'd be more happy with someone from the club but not Tasso. When we found don Cesare as an interim coach it was a great decision.

I don't see how Tassotti could motivate or wake our squad up. He's been there with Allegri, Seedorf and Pippo all along and if he really was up to something more shrewd then the managers did, he surely would have advised them to do so. I'm really not take by the idea, especially not when having in mind that Seedorf wanted him out, which should mean something.

I think we have to factor in many things in this

Tasso is an easy solution to see us through what is already a wasted season

Bringing someone in who we plan on keeping long term now would be a bad decision imo, so that's out of the question.

And any someone from within the club setup imo isn't much different from Tasso.

Great, more dross.

Well, this season is such an embarrassing write off I guess it doesn't matter.

The dream this summer is Conte, Montella or Klopp.

We'll get Maldini.

So, now Mediaset reports that Berlusconi was ready to fire Inzaghi but Galliani saved his @ss. Fiorentina will be decisive for his fate, and seeing how we're 99% going to lose, then that's bye-bye Pippo?

So, now Mediaset reports that Berlusconi was ready to fire Inzaghi but Galliani saved his @ss. Fiorentina will be decisive for his fate, and seeing how we're 99% going to lose, then that's bye-bye Pippo?

Didn't this very same thing happen with Allegri multiple times?

Galliani is the real problem for us, not Silvio. Silvio's biggest mistake is letting him loose to run this clubs as he wishes for all these years
