QUOTE (acid911 @ Dec 31 2008, 06:39 PM) Maybe I'll finally try and watch 'Once Upon A Time In The West', who knows? You haven't watched it yet? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) what are you waiting for, dude? QUOTE And speaking of January - it's my month. Can't wait for my birthday on the 19th! Big party planned. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/graduated.gif) Have fun, everybody. Too early, but happy birthday (in case I forget or I'm not around on 19th (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) )

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Dec 31 2008, 08:23 PM) You haven't watched it yet? what are you waiting for, dude? To tell you the truth, I got a chance watched the first ten minutes on my cable TV, loved the titles, and then went to sleep. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/goodheart.gif) I was too tired to be honest, been awake for the last 20 or so hours. Anyway, I definitely loved what I saw, and will make it my New Year's Resolution to catch it on DVD. If someone wants to see the first ten or so minutes, here's a direct download link: Once Upon A Time In The West.movQUOTE (Zed.D @ Dec 31 2008, 08:23 PM) Too early, but happy birthday (in case I forget or I'm not around on 19th) Appreciated, mate. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Very much. QUOTE (Tennie @ Dec 31 2008, 09:23 PM) Happy New Year and a cookie (see above) to everyone from Fishdoll and me. Yum, yum. Just my kind: chocolate chip! Thanks Tennie. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) Oh, and before I forget, here's a beer pitcher for everyone (including a very special one for Locke) from Pola. Drink up: (IMG: http://i27.tinypic.com/315etu1.png)

I'm amazed he was that close, Rivaldo. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) It's been a while since Fishdoll and I tried to write anything in Russian. We spent 3 years in Poland some time ago and picked up a bit of Russian.

I don't mind slow paced movies. If anything, I enjoy them, as long as I'm not watching in a cinema. On DVD, I can watch a ten hour long flick, if it's worth my time. This one was, unluckily I was too tired from work that night. But all said and done, I'll make a point and try and find it. Gotta catch it on a DVD, afterall. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleepysmiley03.gif) QUOTE (MizNelson @ Dec 31 2008, 10:55 PM) Weren't we just celebrating New Years like, a year ago? Jiminy Christmas, where has time gone?? (You're a riot, acid.) Ain't I? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) QUOTE (mishie @ Jan 1 2009, 01:28 AM) For those people i like and respect........happy new year!! and for those i don't........nothing I'm wondering which side I'm on?! Wait, don't tell me. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/96.gif)

QUOTE (acid911 @ Dec 31 2008, 02:09 PM) Finally, I can get rid of this dreaded glory hunter signature. I've also got less than five hours to choose a new year's resolution. The fact that I forget the resolution come January 2 is another thing. If you didn't make it in time to choose one, I suggest you choose the one in your previous sentence! Once it's done, it won't matter if you forget it. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Why is it there anyway, did you lose a bet?

In the US, it's considered appropriate to leave a tip of around 15% at restaurants. Bars aren't quite under the same unwritten rule, but if your pint of lager costs $8, you'd probably leave the barman one of the two $1 bills you get in change.

QUOTE (KillerMax @ Jan 6 2009, 05:33 PM) Nice... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) In America you would make much more... Maybe around 2 to $300 on a night like that... Thing is... £35 is probably worth more... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Damn, wouldn't mind working there! Thing is I'm still 2 years under the legal age over the pond (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) That's a good tip night really, I mean I've been tipped quite a bit before in one-off's by entourages (whom just happen to be Americans!) but as for just the general public that's good going over here! Stupid tight English!

QUOTE (acid911 @ Jan 7 2009, 04:42 PM) Which probably is 23, there in Britain? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Or are you 16? Nah I'm 19! I thought America's drinking age (in the main) was 21 unless I've been mis-informed!

QUOTE (Kaka Is Brilliant @ Jan 7 2009, 09:56 PM) Nah I'm 19! I thought America's drinking age (in the main) was 21 unless I've been mis-informed! Aha! It's usually any of these three ages: 18, 21 and 23, with the first being the most popular number to denote legal age. It's the same in my country too, yup, 18. Gives you the right to do anything, including voting. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Except drinking, of course. Bah!

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jan 7 2009, 06:15 PM) Everyone else was leaving a tip, so I'd have felt somewhat guilty not doing the same. Oh, so...well, now I understand.
