Finally, I can get rid of this dreaded glory hunter signature. I've also got less than five hours to choose a new year's resolution. The fact that I forget the resolution come January 2 is another thing. Maybe I'll finally try and watch 'Once Upon A Time In The West', who knows? And speaking of January - it's my month. Can't wait for my birthday on the 19th! Big party planned. Have fun, everybody.

To tell you the truth, I got a chance watched the first ten minutes on my cable TV, loved the titles, and then went to sleep. I was too tired to be honest, been awake for the last 20 or so hours. I'm amazed he was that close, Rivaldo. It's been a while since Fishdoll and I tried to write anything in Russian. We spent 3 years in Poland some time ago and picked up a bit of Russian.

I should have known. while an amazing western, it's not fast paced [to which I for one am thankful]. one may fall asleep while watching it.

Happy New Year to anyone on the East Coast. Three more hours out here.

I don't mind slow paced movies. If anything, I enjoy them, as long as I'm not watching in a cinema. On DVD, I can watch a ten hour long flick, if it's worth my time. This one was, unluckily I was too tired from work that night. But all said and done, I'll make a point and try and find it.

Gotta catch it on a DVD, afterall.

Well... It was ****ing cold outside... My butt is frozen right now... but I celebrated the new year with the crazy New York crowd... It was fun. Damn cold though.

I heard temperatures were as low as zero during the hoopla. Hell, it could've been nuclear war and Times Square would still be packed.

There was absolutely no coverage of New Year's celebrations out here on the local channels. I was rather irked by that.

Tips isn't really an English thing to be honest, that's why people probably don't get so much here. I was amazed when I went over to the US at the amount of tips I had to leave!

Probably the other way round. He felt unpleasant for having to leave them!

In the US, it's considered appropriate to leave a tip of around 15% at restaurants. Bars aren't quite under the same unwritten rule, but if your pint of lager costs $8, you'd probably leave the barman one of the two $1 bills you get in change.

That's a good tip night really, I mean I've been tipped quite a bit before in one-off's by entourages (whom just happen to be Americans!) but as for just the general public that's good going over here!

Aha! It's usually any of these three ages: 18, 21 and 23, with the first being the most popular number to denote legal age. It's the same in my country too, yup, 18. Gives you the right to do anything, including voting. Except drinking, of course. Bah!
