Well, I am kind off pleased with coach Carlo...after all, he managed us out of the Zacch and Terim days and continued the Milan legacy (naturally, not only Carlo (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ). Now he is confronted with the ultimative test - to build a new Milan generation...well is he the right one (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) ?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
I think he should leave..we should thank him for what he's done but it feels to me that his days here are over and he certainly can't built a new Milan team...He's already started to make Gila look bad...c'mon let him play in a different way it's not gonna hurt..We are all going to see what he's capable of doind when he plays behind the "11" in this WC (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I think we should try to have double managers... Cesare and Paolo together would be extremly cool... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I must say I admire Cesare, but he is to old I suppose. Paolo+Cesare+Sacchi, sounds like a allstar coach team. Paolo could indeed be the new coach, but he is still playing. Rijkaards late success and his connection to us is very tempting. Someone suggested Donadoni, but not so sure he is the right one. I never understood where Baresi dissapeared? I mean, I knw what he is doing at Milan, but I allway imagined him as a future coach after his retirment (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) !?

Ancelotti has done well this season, a record breaking 88 points for us the worst we have done in the champions league for 4 years is a quater final, fought bravely for the scudetto missing it only marginally

i say keep him for as long as possible

Two years without a trophie in a club like Milan, I think it's enough for a coach to be sacked. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Carlo needs another year in Milan to self-establish again after two failed seasons.
Now with new players I'm pretty much sure that he can do more and he definitly will have FRESH IDEAS how to win Seria A. (I think everybody here would like a League Chempion title more then everything else for the next year)

And later In 07 I think Carlo will leave no matter what and that will be his choice.

He is a great coach but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have his ups and downs (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I think we should keep him for another season at least.
His turn around this season from an underperforming, inconsistant team, to a team thats arguably one of the best in europe, in less than a months period was astonishing.
Maybe, as Costacurta put it, his 'cycle' is starting again rarther than ending. So with a few new players over the summer, prehaps we'll see some great choices by Carlo during the season. And if not, we should let him go.
Safe in the knowledge, that despite a poor few seasons, that he did win us the CL & the league.

Are you forgetting the fact that Juve cheated? It's pretty difficult to finish in first place when another team is essentially fixing their matches. For me, Milan were the champions this year.

BTW....to hell with Chelsea.

to many changes needed on the pitch last thing we need is to change coach. lets see who comes in and how we get on after all i think this will be a transitional period of time for us. carlo is a good coach and will succeed for us but i don't think it will be this year. rui costa, stam, sheva possibly abbiati, ambrosini all gone or going you tell me how any club can cope with that! 07/08 will see us back to our formidable best after a season of change imo

Yea, I am not so sure for the 2004/05 season, but the last one belongs to us (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ! But its late now, to bring us the tweo titles would be only partical satisfaction...Let us see what will happen to Juve in the first place (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) . I am just worried about the Italian national team with Lippi...

Do you know wich scenario I fear the most when it comes to Carlos departure? Not the Real thing; Italy fail to qualify for the 1/4 finals (the Czecs suprise as first and go on to the second in the Brazil group (Croatia, Australia, Japan), and Italy faces Brazil)and Lippi gets sacked. Or he quits due to the Juve investigation (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . Then Ancelotti gets appointed as national coach! Like Sacchi before...the only man who can also take charge for Italy beside Carlo is Capello.

Well I would go for Henk ten Cate as he's the one that created Barca's game (ofcourse we'll never know that for sure cause the team is balanced enough to continue even without it's mastermind...) but he's already Ajax's coach...
The reason I want Ancelotti out is just because I believe his affair with Milan is over and not because we failed to win any silverware these past two years...
Now as it seems a few new boys are coming in,so I'l like to see Guus Hiddink as he's by far the best tactician worldwide and would be perfect to build up a (relatively) new team.I hope he is allowed to coach a club despite his contract with the Russian NT..
But anyway Ancelotti is staying till the end of next season at least so... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
