Whoa. Did someone curse the Brazilian national teams or something? Two losses in a week.

QUOTE (Porty @ Jun 30 2007, 10:06 PM) Italian reports that he's in Milano for talks with... Inter. Not Milan. I'm sure Milan will take advantage of him being here even if he came for Inter! We will definitely have talks but we would surely lose him to Inter if we entered a bidding war.

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Jul 1 2007, 02:55 AM) Plus .. If Milan really want him, they will get him I wish that were true, as European Champions I thought things would be different from last season. But Abidal turned us down to move to Barca, Suazo turned us down to move to Inter and alot of top players have been heavily linked with Inter this summer. They definetly have the pulling power over us, if they want somebody, we may as well look elsewhere. Maybe with Pato's age he'll be different, I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to sit in the reserves for 5 years.

I agree with you Samarth, he can't possibly become as good as Ricky but he could become a great nonetheless!

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jul 1 2007, 11:49 AM) I wish that were true, as European Champions I thought things would be different from last season. You see .. The problem here is that we (milanfan.com) are sitting at home and reading from several sources to get a feel of what is going on, in regards to Milan. And the info that we are fed are usually the bottom line info, no details. I mean, Suazo and Abidal look for HUGE contracts, especially since they both come from clubs that have a low salary cap. What Milan offered was what it offered to it's average team players (I know this, cuz it is what the club has been saying for the past decade). That is why they choose Inter and Barca over Milan. But if Milan really wants a player, they will reel him in. Take a good example from Nesta, he was bound to leave, and all the top clubs were hovering around him like vultures .. Madrid and Juve were in the bidding and they probably offered him really high wages, but Milan and Berlusconi wanted him, so he is playing in Milan today (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) It doesn't take much to acknowledge this .. I mean, who are Abidal and Suazo ?! Sure they are good players (and don't get me wrong, I do rate them highly..), but they aren't world class players. What you fail to see is Milan is on the verge of building a world class team (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Sure .. They will let these buys go - referring to Abidals and Suazos- but they wont let players like Ronaldinho go by, cuz for players like Ronaldino (world class players) Milan is always first in line for them (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif) Maybe we are just too anxious, but be sure that this club is #1 and Europe and Berlusconi's aim is to keep it that way, no matter the odds. This is the same Silvio Berlusconi from 86 till 07 and hopefully for another decade (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)
