"Aber es mit (dem Stadtrivalen) Inter zu teilen ist nicht immer einfach", sagte Galliani der Tageszeitung "Corriere della Sera". Galliano ist auch Präsident des Italienischen Fußballverbandes.
Das Stadion, eröffnet 1926 und 1950 erweitert, bietet 82.955 Zuschauern Platz. Anlässlich der Fußball-WM 1990 wurde es erneut umgebaut und um einen dritten Rang erweitert. Dieser wird von insgesamt elf Türmen gehalten. In vier dieser Türmen befinden sind auch die Aufgänge zu den einzelnen Rängen. source: sport.orfThis news is a bit old, but still... It's been on for like forever in wikipedia. I asked around.Seems it was just a pressure tactic to ease up the cash we play for using the Siro.

most teams build new stadiums when it will cost more for repairs than actually building a new stadium. since the san siro is so old that could be the case in the next 5-10 years. i would hate to see them leave, but sometimes it makes more since business wise.
