He just likes saying that, I'm sure at least another 2 players will come ...
but he's got a point though I mean even with this ageing squad we still manage to win CL ...

QUOTE (Nova @ Jun 19 2007, 11:40 AM)

It was always welcome Ronaldinho (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

QUOTE (m1ke @ Jun 19 2007, 11:51 AM)
I agree, he's all of these things, but I still think 14m is too much.

Maybe I'm getting tight in my old age (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (23 today - woo! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) )

I'm sure he'll do well for us.

Happy B-day .. My 23rd was a positive year, hope ur's is too (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jun 19 2007, 12:18 PM)
LaPalma made an interesting point in the Suazo thread in Transfers.

He has no European experience. Is he just going to be another Gila to us? Quite prolific for a lower team, but doesn't cut it at a big club/Europe?
*

I think with R9, Pippo, and Kaka .. We don't need Suazo for the CL (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ Jun 19 2007, 02:37 PM)
Hmm..this is wierd. Am I to understand Suazo is our only offensive signing?

No R10? And with us brandishing knives at Real, no Emerson either right?

Suddenly I'm a little confused...(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Ok so get us a centre back, a fullback and Tiago and I'll say it's a good transfer season, and we ought to challenge for the double.
*

Don't be, it's Galliani trying to spur another surprise (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

QUOTE (Porty @ Jun 19 2007, 02:43 PM)
Just relax. Be happy as we signed one of the best fowards in Italy.

I think we missed his pace. A quick and strong guy like him upfront.  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Exactly ... This is great news ... We have solved our striker problem. Suazo will be fresh and will guarantee us goals by the dozens in Serie A next year (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

No. I always liked Suazo.
I'm happy because he won't need to adapt and improve our squad level.

About 10R... don't know. All I know Suazo is similar to Etoo.
I won't be fvcked up if we don't sign Eto'o or 10R this Summer.

But if Inter sign one of them... yes. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I've got a feeling that stupid Moratti will now break all his accounts and splash 50-60 million to get a superstar just to clear his face.

Now I'll be hoping that Tevez agrees to stay at West Ham, or Real sign him immediately, and Eto'o & Dinho agree to stay at Barca...... and than finally I'll be calm, coz there's no other good choices that Inter can make, except if they go totally crazy with money and sign Torres or Villa.

QUOTE
Inter-Milan: It’s war over Suazo

Inter chief Massimo Moratti has told Milan that they have not yet landed David Suazo. “The player has already signed for us,” he blasted.

The Cagliari star was expected to join the Italian champions this summer, but the Rossoneri have hijacked the move after striking an agreement with the Sant'Elia outfit late last night.

“There was no reason for this to happen seeing as there was already a deal with the Rossoblu,” noted Moratti on Tuesday.

“Nevertheless, we will have to see what happens now because the player has already signed for us.”

Sardinian chief Massimo Cellino claimed earlier today that talks with the Nerazzurri had collapsed after failing to get hold of Moratti over the last few days.

“He never called me,” responded the oil tycoon. “That’s a lie. I cannot justify Milan’s attitude either, although I know them well…”

Cagliari have defended their sale to Milan and sporting director Nicola Salerno insist they owe no explanation to Inter.

“The negotiations were ongoing and we needed to close the deal as soon as possible,” said the official to Sky Italia.

“The player had not signed and therefore there was no bond. Galliani and Cellino found an agreement and the deal was done.

“I will not discuss the financial details, all I will say is that there were some bureaucratic problems connected to the transfers of Marco Andreolli and Robert Acquafresca from Inter to us.”

Milan will reportedly pay £10m for Suazo after Marco Borriello refused to be included in a player plus cash switch.

Could be interesting if he has 'signed with inter'..

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

We definitely need a midfielder or two.

We only have gourcuff and brocchi off the bench for the middle without including like cafu, serginho and jankulovski as potential middle players. So definitely need cover of some sort in the midfield.

Inter has nothing. Deal with the player? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) That's sh!t.

We've the deal with the club. That's what matters.

Just like Ronaldinho situation. We can agree terms with him but without Barcelona sign allowing him to be in other club... we've nothing.

If Suazo really is the last signing then this really is said after the promise of the big player.

And It's not about R10, Eto'o or whatever, in fact I'm much happier with Suazo, he has Serie A experiance and hopefully will settle in really quick. It's the fact that we need another midfielder who can play in anyone of the 3 spots behind Kaka and hopefully a LB (Zambrotta) or a good YOUNG CB (Zapata)

Hopefully when he's saying we won't be making anymore transfers he's only speaking about the attacking department, because we seriously need 2 more players for the midfield and defensive department

Suazo? Hmh,...not sure `bout that guy...but you all praise him here so I have to belive and hope he won`t be another Oli.

But it would be terrible to end our summer market with that one! We must get a star,...we are linked to possibly every good player avaible right now and would be so dissapointing if non of them would come.

I hope Moratti won`t pull out a suprise like - "Milan snap out Inter`s Suazo, Inter snap out Milan`s Ronaldinho"...but it`s not likely...

Ronaldinho prefers Milan im sure and Moratti would reject ronaldinho becuase he isnt argentinian

Eto'o can go to Inter if he wants, that is if he wants to be part of a club who have strong right wing ties, Beat up their own players, throw burning scooters at oppositon, throw flares at opposing players and parade around with an ill deserved scuddetto taken from another team

He prefers the Premiership to Inter i would think

Yeah kind of a funny situation. We appear to have went right under Inters nose for the player.

I don't know why striker would want to go to Inter at this time. They have 4-5 strikers already and if Adriano is having problems playing most likely you will have problems.

At least Suazo is adapted to serie A already and has shown his quality. Milan definitely need something more than him but hopefully were not using this as a way for Galliani to say we have Suazo, we no longer need reinforcements in offense.
