Oh, I forgot to mention... when Liverpool walked up the stairs to get their medals the Scousers started sining YNWA (that's 'You'll Never Walk Alone' not 'You'll Never Win in Athens') and then the Milan tifosi sang along!! Now, who's the best!??  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) If you see the video, you'll understand, it's a pretty high noise! Most fans were of Brigate Rossonere and if you check their site there's YNWA listed in their cori (choruses) so it's not so surprising but still it was a great thing to do. Plus, we all applauded the 'Pool players when they came close in the end.

Gosh, they sure don't waste any time, do they? And if they continue to include a Kaka poster in seemingly every other issue, there'll be enough to wallpaper the San Siro.

Uefa report slams Reds fans
Sunday, 03 Jun 2007 11:26

A report produced by Uefa has condemned Liverpool's fans as the worst in Europe and president Michel Platini plans to present the dossier to sports minister Richard Caborn.

The report claims that Liverpool fans have been involved in 25 incidents across Europe in the last four years that are a worry to the authorities.

The most recent incident occurred at the Champions League final where fans clashed with police outside the game.

People with counterfeit tickets managed to get into the ground while some Liverpool fans with genuine tickets were forced to miss the match.

But Uefa claim that this is not an isolated incident and can point to other trouble involving Reds fans at away games in Europe.

Uefa spokesman William Gaillard told the News of the World: "We have an independent police report mentioning 25 incidents since 2003 caused by Liverpool fans away from home.

"That's the most of any team in Europe. We should all be very pleased that no one was hurt."

Speaking about the scenes at the Champions League final Gaillard was surprised to see fans climb a security fence to claim one of the many flags at pitch-side.

Gaillard said: "We had 102 flags in the stadium, but by the time the game began there were only two left. People climbed up amid incredible danger in order to steal them, and we know a majority were Liverpool fans."

Liverpool plan to defend themselves fiercely and will point to concerns they raised about security before the final and a report they handed to Uefa themselves about such incidents.

...

Every Liverpool fan I met was great! None of them were actual Scousers though... and they all drunk too much!

I think it's only normal that incidents like the ones described above took place after all that drinking...

There was also this disgusting incident when a group of Liverpool fans forced their way through the first line of checking gates and then stole tickets from other Liverpool fans and even some kids...

These things should NOT happen even if it is from the minority!

You'll probably find 90% of the people in Athens weren't scousers.

The majority were probably rich Londoners who grew up in the 70s/80s and support Liverpool because of their success. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Well, it's only logical considering the unemployment rate and general economical state of Liverpool...
