Simao doesn't look a great player to me... I think he'd fail in a bigger team.

He did have a spell at Barca that wasn't entirely successful (played in a CL game against Milan a few years ago). But he's class for Benfica and for the Portuguese NT. Simao very nearly went to Valencia last year (clubs had agreed terms, but he didn't agree terms with Valencia re wages).

(IMG:http://www.persianfootball.com/news/images/teymourian-wc22.jpg)

wiki:

Andranik Teymourian is an Iranian football player currently playing for Bolton Wanderers in the FA Premier League and the Iran national football team. He usually plays as a defensive midfielder, but can also play as a winger.

He is one of my favorites at the moment. Very consistent and very talented. He has a good eye for goal too.

And there was this one other player who plays for Steaua with a kind of similar style as C. Ronaldo. I forgot his name, but he really caught my eye in the CL group stage games.

Obviously. But other than Mahdavikia and the legend that was Daei, all other Iranian players are not even close. Maybe Nekounam who plays for Osasuna in the Liga. Here's the thing, if Teymourian was to join Milan, he would be a great signing. I couldn't say the same about other Iranian players. I don't think Arabs are fond of Iranians. I know for a fact that most Iranians despise Arabs (it's the whole Persian\ Aryans vs. Arabs thing (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ) So no, actually it wouldn't be any better than let's say Kaladze, commercially. Plus, Teymourian is Christian, so I would say no chance. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

There was a good article on Parma's Dessena, a while back, but its gone missing on the eurosport page

basically think of him as kind of a pirlo player who makes devestating runs in the box

His passing is highly rated

I think Boijnov is a good talent also. He needs the right team and a the right coach though.

My god, what has happened to cassano, he was so promising a few years back

He is a nobody now, who parties excessively, and loves to argue with managers

I agree. This guy at 16 (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) was already playing in Serie A. He's only 21 now and a big talent

I feel that if he does make a return to Italy, his career will get back on track. He won't reach the potential he once promised, but will still make a decent player.
