precisely, also I just think that he has the potential of becoming our next Inzaghi,
however, I acknowledge the fact that he hasn't done anything heroic since his arrival, maybe later in the future he will

Shevchenko had a pretty poor season i think during 03 or 02, injury plagued and constantly inconsistent, there were even rumours about selling him. He eventually regained his form and we know what happened next

Yeah, but prior to that dry spell, Shevchenko has been as lethal as it gets for Milan (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Gilardino, we have yet to see what he has to provide (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Wait another season ?? I don't really care how long Milan wait for him (I ain't paying for his incompetence); but that facts remain, that he still hasn't proved himself. And he is going into his third season with Milan (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

You can't really say he hasn't proved himself. He had a great scoring record with a lesser club, to score that amount of goals as he did with Parma, with an average kinda team over multiple seasons is damn good.

He'll get back to his old self.

QUOTE

Basically Gila is worried that he won't be a strater next season, especially when we have Ronaldo and another world class striker might come. So it's possible he could leave. Fiorentina wants him but if he leaves it will be to Juve where he think he could be a lethal striker again.

There don't seem to be any direct quotes in the article above, but that story's been circulating in the Italian press for a couple of days. None have (that I recall) direct quotes from Gila, but they all make the same point: that Gila is afraid of dropping further down the list if a world class striker is brought in.

A couple of the articles have gone on to say that his laywer would be meeting with Juve officials to discuss a transfer there, because Gila was a Zebra fan as a child. (The article quoted above says his lawyer is meeting with Fester today and that the only place Gila wants to go is Juve).

Gila hasn`t proven anything jet, so I would not be so sad to see him leave. He just don`t works good here. I would be glad to see him play for Juve if we could get out of the deal Buffon.

Also, Gilardino has that certain "Vieri-factor". Remember Vieri at Inter? Has that man scored even one single goal for them against Milan? I don`t remember, maybe he did, but none of some importance. The same I feel with Gila. He never scored for us in big matches (only a few times to be precise,..ManUtd for ex.). I `m sure he would not score for Juve either. And it`s a great feeling watching a derby match when you know the opponent main striker won`t score... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

He used to score plenty against the big 3 (including us) when he was at Parma. I don't think it really has to do with anything rather than the fact that it's because he's playing for Milan, which DEFINATELY is not at the same level as Parma.

He needs more confidence in himself more then anything else, because he caves easily under pressure.

Or maybe he just can't seem to 'click' with Milan, if you can understand what I'm trying to say, maybe we are not the right team for him and Juve are, who knows?

I think he should stay in Milan. But he need to understand that if another world class striker would come it's possible that he won't be a starter, and he just need to continue to work hard and prove to us that he's can make it in the highest level and he can be lethal in a team like Milan.

Gila chiama pure l'Inter

Gazzetta suggests that Adriano - Gila swop is a possibility.

I think that'd be a bad move, I'd rather it not happen. I think Gila is too 'nice' to play for Inter anyways. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
