QUOTE (m1ke @ May 24 2007, 01:35 AM) It's strange - I thought I'd have a lot to say after the final whistle, but it feels like I need to say nothing at all. Everything just feels 'right'. What a season it has been, certainly one that I won't forget in a hurry. It's been a rollercoaster right from the start, but everything just seemed to fall into place at the right moment. I was looking back at the match threads from the beginning of the season, and I think some of you would find this thread - http://www.milanfan.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3318 - an interesting read! (our 2nd CL group game against Lille, which ended 0-0). I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to the forum this season (posts, pics, videos, humour - whatever!). It wouldn't have been the same without you. For those of you sticking around for next season, I'm going to make sure v2 is worth the wait. For now, I'm going to re-watch the game from start to finish with the biggest smile on my face (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/goodheart.gif) happy watching m8 i will 2 lol and thanks for making this amazing forum !!!! I just thought of another article that was posted here... one about the CL, it ended like this; "2007 CL Winners: AC Milan, you read it here first"... If anyone is able to find it please post a link cause I really wanna see the comments we made at that time!! Well wat can i say, i dont even know how to describe wat im feeling now.
I was a little disappointed after the first half, but i have to give credit to the liverpool midfield in that first half, there was nothing we could do they were just everywhere. The goal we got was very lucky but thats the way the game is and i dont care if it was a lucky goal i was just happy to go into the break at 1-0. I admire my heroes for coming out and playing in the 2nd half! Although kaka was stopped by masch and co. for most of the game and couldnt do his mazy runs like he normally does, when he had the chance for glory he was unselfish and used the better option and had faith in his teammate that he would score. Pippo is a legend and i admire the striker he is, to keep a kool head in that situation and slot the ball home is something i will look up to for all my years to come of playing. FORZA MILAN!!! And lets hope we have a great season next year. My internet is being very gay and im pissed off that i probly wont be able to start finishing my Milan CL journey comp til like friday afternoon. |

Dear Mike,
Thank you very much for this great forum which has given diehard Milan fans like me a great outlet to express our dreams and hopes for this magnificent team. There are days in our lives where we struggle tremendously with our work and family. But the champions of Milan have always kept us going and have never disappointed us. I've always looked forward to team updates from this site, which has never disappointed the fans. This season has been a bitttersweet one. Points deduction Ageing players Loss of Sheva But we stood tall and proved everyone wrong. Thats the brilliance of Milan. Congrats to AC Milan and all the hardcore supporters. Cheers Mike! |

When Sheva scored that Penalty in 2003, he won my undying loyalty and unconditional love, now that Inzaghi was our saviour of Athens, he has won the same thing, no matter what he does or where he goes, he will always have a place in my heart
That is the reason why i still like sheva, due to that cold manchester day |
