QUOTE (redbabies @ Apr 28 2007, 07:09 PM)
exaclty.

and just think about it:

1. would we benefit more from Gigi (which is world's No.1, and Dida is making mistakes more and more) ?
2. or would we benefit from Dinho (while we have KAKA which is mroe effective than him) ?

I'm going with the first choice  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

You know exactly what I mean when I said "Buffon is just a goalie".

And that talk about Ronaldinho plays in the same place as Kaka' is pure b/s. Ronaldinho can be a LW or SS like he plays in Barcelona sometimes. Kaka' is just an AM.

If he comes:

R'dinho--Ronaldo
-------Kaka'-----
Seedorf-Gattuso
-------Pirlo-------
...

I agree with Porty on not spending ridiculous money on a keeper.

I would like to have a keeper for a change though.

I'll support Dida while he wears the Milan shirt, I just hope it isn't for much longer.

1. Dida cannot go back to his former self especially with all those people pointing out and screaming over every single mistake he makes!

2. Maybe you think a keeper is not a necessity right now but looking ahead I can see everybody coming out with quotes like "Dida is old, we need this and we need that bla bla bla"...

3. When that time comes we won't have a chance to snatch Gianluigi Buffon!!

4. In my view, with Buffon providing stability and security to the defense and as a consequence to the whole team, a new CB and a new creative+holding midfielder (Sneijder) or a good young forward (Pato?) we're going to have a great team. This season Milan's biggest problem has been it's defence IMO. We may not have conceded a lot but our defence sucks, we give away the ball too much, we can't take it away from our half, even the worst opponent has great chances to score, ASCOLI off all teams scored twice against us and we had to sacrifice too much to cover up for our sh!tty defensive function that we has scored less than half what we did last season... How R20 is gonna come up for all that is beyond me... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Ronaldo proves he's back in form so a midfielder or a forward will be enough. That's hardly E50m, HALF what we need for R20... or maybe we can win every game 4-3!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

4. Who says Ronaldino is going to make it in Milan? He's no doubt one of the greatest nowadays but in no way does this guarantee him success in Milan! In my view, E100m is too much for any player especially for someone who hasn't played in Serie A before.

5. I've said before that a player needs a wife, to be his life manager... you though this was a joke but I think it's true... look at every single footballer and compare their careers to those of married footballers. Look at Ronaldo when he didn't have a kid, look at Adriano, look at the very R20 and tell yourself...

6. That Buck Teeth poseur is a semi-professional! He only participates in half the Barcelona training sessions, travels around with the occasional girlfriend and stuff... No matter what Silvio said about this nobody can tell for sure that R20 will go by his rules especially with the billions of contracts he has signed for commercial purposes (He's even going to have a Toon made for him with his voice... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) )!

As I see things, R20 is far from being our best choice... and I'd be happy to see him stay away from Milan!

To be honest, I don't want any of them!
I can't see why Buffon would want to leave Juventus now, and Ronaldinho...
Technically he is the best in the world, but think of how little effect his one-man shows tend to have?

What I would like to have is a trustable 2nd keeper, a defender that can help Maldini and Nesta, and maybe Lippi as coach...

We can get them both. Ronaldinho from the Silvio's money and Buffon along with a few another players on the Milan budget. Yes, we usually do not spent big, but in the past seasons the board thought that we already had a strong team and don't need to buy too much. But now even they know that we are in the transition in which big clubs do make big changes. Plus all the sums in a media are exaggeration.

I think ronaldo has some right to hit at capello but not alot. I mean capello has done wonders for real madrid. He has a whole squad of talent but no one really even cares for winning anymore, they just want to get paid and have fun thats all. I'll give ronaldo a hand for leaving that sh!tty team and coming to milan where we desperatly depend on him. Capello and carlo are different and madrid and milan are different. Insulting capello will only get him hated but i gotta give capello a hand for still contending for the la liga title even with the current lazy @ss team they have.

No no no, Cappello is a ****ing hard-head coach who has no skill of bringing the team togeather, his team spirit is zero. No body trusts him exept his favourites, Ruud Van Horsy the worst striker around, when you need him, he is absent. Raul, a head-less chicken who should not be in the Madrid B team, Guti, the worst player they ever had, he is obssesed with these three, while Robinho has the talent more than 3 of them, barely gets a chance.

I dont want to discuss Real Madrid **** here and especially Capello, if I start, trust me, i will make you hate him with facts.

PS: Last year Raul played whole year without scoring a goal, this year, he has scored some tap-ins but i think he will never ever reach the double-figures again, eg: 10 goal, it will stay as max as 9.
