Ronaldo hits out at Capello
Thursday 26 April, 2007
Milan striker Ronaldo has attacked his former Coach Fabio Capello. “I don’t want any kind of relationship with him.â€
The Brazilian joined the San Siro outfit in January from Real Madrid in a £5m move, also motivated by an apparent lack of faith from the former Juventus boss.
“Capello often contradicted himself,†said Ronaldo in an interview to Spanish television channel Canal+.
“Sometimes he would tell me I had to train harder than everyone else and at other times he would tell me I was the best player in the world,†added the former Inter star.
“The truth is that I did not, and I do not want, any kind of relationship with my former Coach now that I am in Milan.â€
Ronaldo confirmed his difficult relationship not only with the Pieris-born tactician, but with the entire Merengues management.
“I would like Real Madrid to win La Liga, but only for my former teammates, not for those that are in charge of the club. They did not behave as you would expect of people who manage such an important side.â€
The Brazilian was also asked to comment on Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, who played an important role in the Red Devils’ Champions League win on Tuesday.
“I believe he is one of the best players in the world. Ronaldinho? I would like to have him here in Milan, but I think it will be very difficult for that to happen,†concluded Ronaldo.

Hmm... a sounding board?
And Galliani speaking of C.Ronaldo... it does not seem such a certain move after all (the R20 one).
