Ronaldo hits out at Capello
Thursday 26 April, 2007

Milan striker Ronaldo has attacked his former Coach Fabio Capello. “I don’t want any kind of relationship with him.”

The Brazilian joined the San Siro outfit in January from Real Madrid in a £5m move, also motivated by an apparent lack of faith from the former Juventus boss.

“Capello often contradicted himself,” said Ronaldo in an interview to Spanish television channel Canal+.

“Sometimes he would tell me I had to train harder than everyone else and at other times he would tell me I was the best player in the world,” added the former Inter star.

“The truth is that I did not, and I do not want, any kind of relationship with my former Coach now that I am in Milan.”

Ronaldo confirmed his difficult relationship not only with the Pieris-born tactician, but with the entire Merengues management.

“I would like Real Madrid to win La Liga, but only for my former teammates, not for those that are in charge of the club. They did not behave as you would expect of people who manage such an important side.”

The Brazilian was also asked to comment on Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, who played an important role in the Red Devils’ Champions League win on Tuesday.

“I believe he is one of the best players in the world. Ronaldinho? I would like to have him here in Milan, but I think it will be very difficult for that to happen,” concluded Ronaldo.

Hmm... a sounding board? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

And Galliani speaking of C.Ronaldo... it does not seem such a certain move after all (the R20 one).

i think everytime champions league matches come he gets sad and starts blaming capello why did he play him.

well, I'm against both of you (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

just one example:
why would you need Ronaldinho when whatever he may do wouldn't be enough, as far as Dida would make mistakes? (I hope he will improve, but that seems to me impossible)

or another example:
Kaka did everything possible against Man U. and Dida blew it all (especially with the 3rd goal)

So, better get Gigi and make our defence the best in europe.

Dida ain't good enough, thank God ... Now I don't have to watch that game on Wednesday cuz Dida is gonna f@ck up as usual (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Is that what u would like to hear ?? I don't know, but that seems like it ...

R10 and Buffon are great and are on Milan's wish lists for next season .. But not this one; why can't u guys live one season at a time !!! Milan is in the semis and Dida is the only chance we have at progressing !

God why do I even have to bother .. Hopeless.

Buffon is JUST a goalie for god sake... people want 30-40M/euros for him. Keep Dida or buy Boruc for 10M or whatever. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I'm with arivanjj on this one. Ronaldinho is too bloody expensive and I'm not convinced he'll translate well to Serie A.

Yes, I'd much prefer money were spent on Buffon -- he's pure class. And I'm willing to bet that if the recent media reports are true, the asking price Juve directors have named will go down.

That said, this year Dida is Milan's #1. And despite the occasional howler, I support him.

think about signing Ronaldinho and what must happen because of him:

1. World record fee

2. signing a player in the same position as we have who is the best in the world (Kaka).

3. in that case, he must move to second striker infront of Kaka and behind Ronaldo = Oliveira and Pippo must go and Gila becomes a reserve.

4. With R10 going to Second Striker, Kaka loses the game he is playing now, to move forward, therefore just like in Selecao, Kaka can barely go forward.

5. Milan will become too Brazilian, therefore, less team spirit, just like in Madrid.

6. It can only un-balance the team, why? because he is at his peak and the world's most famous, so all the attention will go to him, alot will be expected of him, the coach must try to re-build the team around him, that never works.

---

Positive:

1. Marketing, Milan does not need that, they need trophies.

2. good for Ronaldo, almost same style.

---

Yes Yes I know, what the hell am i doing at home, why not be the director and manager of Milan (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Listen to the man!

@Porty: Yeah Buffon is just a goalie, just as R20 is just a forward!

No, dont f@ck this years CH.L. yet.....coz we are still on the race with a good chance of overcoming Man U. Also we can beat Liverpool (which I hope we'll meet) or Chelsea (which probably gonna be in final).

But we are discussing the possible transfers for the next season and in order to do that we have to evaluate the performances of our players (in this case Dida)

BTW from Dida, Kalac, Storari, and Fiori....... Dida is still my No.1 choice (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

exaclty.

and just think about it:

1. would we benefit more from Gigi (which is world's No.1, and Dida is making mistakes more and more) ?
2. or would we benefit from Dinho (while we have KAKA which is mroe effective than him) ?

I'm going with the first choice (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)
