Pippo and Rui Costa came when our Coach was Terim. |

@dst ... No that isn't what I meant. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and I respect urs s I respect any others .. But I just wanted to highlight, that if there was a budget to be spent, R10 is a special case and wont take anything away from the club's plans to replace certain players.
About Chelsea, they have spent a lot in recent years. And I agree, Abramovic wont be spending what he has last season and the one before. But considering how much Milan spent in the past 5 years, Chelsea and Madrid above all others spent 10x more than Milan. No I am not doubting Nesta's quality and I too would have prefered him too Canavarro (a merda at that time) ... But I don't think Carlo had a say in this one, Silvio reiterated that he only signed Nesta, so the other clubs wont gain a quality cb .. And of course to maintain the team's defense.

Yeah... Carlo isn't really big on signing star players... That's why the managment like him so much... He can get the job done without spending a fortune like those other teams and they still don't have our success. But it would be a lie to say this kind of mentality doesn't have its side effects.

Agreed, but at that time we really needed a CB since we could barely contain a team from Russia when we where qualifying for the CL. A quality CB at that time was what was needed most, and we got REAL quality.
