QUOTE (mchanna @ Mar 31 2007, 10:36 PM)
gila gila gila.... moments of brilliance and then easy misses :/
he makes me worry cry shout at him

I dont know if he has enough mental toughness to carry Milan's future on his shoulders...

He is very hot and cold. He scores a very good goal today, while being dragged to the ground and then misses something I'd have put in. I don't think he has to worry about carrying Milan, if we don't already have it, we'll buy in the quality to make it a team, other than making Gila our team.

He generally scores the hard chance and thats what we need in a striker, in time he can score the easy chance with a bit of practice and luck

It doesn't matter whether he missed it or not. If that was Sheva missing that shot yesterday, you'd never hear about it again. It's all to do with the fact that he obviously isn't very well liked by Milan fans. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

it's simple the popularity of a player is relative to his performanes. sheva was an outstanding player and would get us a good 20+ goals per season. we paid the money for a +20 goalscorer but he hasnt lived up yet so naturally that pisses certain fans. And anyways sheva scored his fare share of goals so you couldnt really complain when he missed the odd sitter. i mean is gila's role is to clean up score on the chances given to him, his role is not to create but to get into the position to be set up and be opportunistic. besides this isnt the first time he misses easy chaces this year.

Gila is symptomatic of our season to be fair, out of form, low on confidence and a bit jaded i'm sure he and the team will be glad to get this season out of the way have a break and start next season refreshed and on a level with everyone else!

Don't forget the infuriating occasional displays of sheer class that leave you scratching your head as to how so much talent can put up such a sh!tty display most of the time. I think that's been symptomatic too ( I love that word...gonna use it more often)
