QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Feb 13 2007, 12:43 PM) Are you kidding (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) do you want us to be like "truffantus" or what, I'm mean isn't this guy a catenaccio adept? I really dont want us to play a defensive football, that's why I dont want guys like Lippi in Milan even if this will probably allow us to win more trophies!

Lippi is cr@p...
Sacchi is no "catenaccio adept"... Not if he wanted he couldn't be with such players as the Dutch trio...
By the way, Catenaccio is a whole philosophy not just a system and I don't find it ugly myself... I've seen better football played by some so-called defensive teams than by "sexy ones" or anything else. Football is football, not goals!
I'm not canine... I enjoy watching beautiful football. But beauty is a pectoral quality, isn't it?? Some people think playing with 10 attackers is wonderful... I think it's stupid. Some people think that throwing an attacker into the game when your team is losing is "obvious", I say they're obviously untutored... Football is smart, that's how it wants to be treated...

The time of Sacchi Milan played splendid football .. IMO, itwas the best ears for this club, but that is just me. catenaccio - Well ask Capello about that, cuz he was the master that implimented it in many of his coaching careers and it is no wonder that he has built a name for himself by perfecting this 'catenaccio' game play. Sacchi is a great. I cant keep repeating this, if I was to choose between him and Carlo, I would take Sacchi back in a heart beat .. But that is just me

Dont get me wrong, I never tlked about playing with 10 attakers! Football is not " only" goals, but football is made of goals (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Sacchi always played with a defensive mind (even if I didn't watch a lot of his games, I take the WC 94 in a count) even with the magic trio. We're not talking about tactics here, do we? Otherwise we could just play FM online and I'll take Milan (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

R7 is one of those old-schoolers. It's not always a bad thing.
Right now I want to see MVB. Coz he's doing exactly what I want to see happen in Milan. Reforming a team, building it from scratch.
I mean after a few hiccups, they do look like they got their act together, the Dutch NT.
Porty says he could be tactically *****, I think he's played long enough in Italy to know a thing or two about tactics. Does anyone know anything about how good a coach Baresi is?

QUOTE (mchanna @ Feb 14 2007, 02:12 AM) Lippi crap? Please define this more. the crap!? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) He is nothing. He is weak, at Giuve he was just Moggi's puppet... he is extremely lucky but he's a mediocre coach. As for the World Cup he's as much responsible for it as I am!

QUOTE (mchanna @ Feb 14 2007, 02:48 AM) Simply put, Lippi is the only person in the world that beats Pippo in being "in the right place at the right time"... By the way he did a f@cking lot (the f@cking lot that he was told to do actually) for Giuve...

Crap is a slang word meaning either 'of low quality', or 'feces'. The former meaning is sometimes considered mildly vulgar and the latter meaning is often considered mildly or moderately vulgar, but could be, on occasion, viewed as strongly vulgar by means of scatological and sensory-provoking use of the word. In its former meaning it also connotes inaccurate, of little factual substance, lies, hype, or quackery. The word is used nearly interchangeably with "sh!t" and considered by many people to be less offensive. Still, some people find the word crap offensive, even if not intended to mean feces, and will use the minced oath "crud" instead.
