Seedorf (Milan): When the Dutch player is in form, he’s unstoppable. Scored a goal and created another to help Milan win their third consecutive match.

Goal.com

It seems like turtle has made quite an impression playing in the trequartista role (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Let me rephrase what Goal.com said:

When Seedorf is in form, he is the most complete midfielder in the world. However, when he is not in form, he is only as good as a fat piece of crap on the pitch...

but that's just my bad karma, sorry (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Seedorf is a great player, but on most of the times it's him that seems too lazy to get off his @ss rather then anything that has to do with form

Baby Turtle Alert (from the club website):

E' NATO DENZEL SEEDORF
25/05/2007

[This morning in Milan Denzel Seedorf was born, weighing in at 3.2 kilos and 49 centimeters in length. Denzel is a handsome baby and is healthy. To his mother Luviana and naturally to Clarence Seedorf go the congratulations of all the rossoneri family.]

Might explain why he wasn't at his very best on Wednesday. With his wife ready to give birth....

Nice 1 Clarence - Double congrats! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) I didn't even know he had a girlfriend let alone got someone pregnant (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Are they married too? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I saw the official communication on the site & it said "la Signora Luviana" dunno if that just means she's a woman as opposed to a girl (Signorina) or the wife of someone (Mrs.) Has he got someone else's wife up the duff? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Does he need to be neutered like a dog instead of a turtle? Hee. I'm pretty sure they're married. He dedicated a goal in one of the recent CL games to 'his wife, who is pregnant'.

Seedorf was very vital for us in the CL. He was the one who controlled the possession in midfield. Sure he could be slow, but he could out dribble anyone, and yes even against the fastest dribblers around, i.e. CR (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ... But as dst said on another post, he lights up like this on the BIG stage, against Cagliari or Reggina, he is a big disappointment. But that is just his class. He is a 4 time CL winner, you can bring him on at anytime and u'll be sure to know that he can make a difference on his own.

Without Seedorf, Milan would have never made it to the CL final !! Had it been Sjnider (spell), I doubt we would have passed Celtic (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

He, as all the others, is a vital focal point in our team along with a twist of experience. But he has something extra, he is a rock in our midfield that the team can hide the ball under for time to free up Kaka or start a potential attack. With experience, he has also become very good at coming back to lend a hand.

Yea definately, and in the league even if as you say (and a lot of others have said which I agree with) he hasn't always been/isn't always consistent. From what I remember against Parma (can you count them as a big club anymore? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) )away (2nd game of the season) he had a great game, not just the awesome goal from a free-kick right in the top-right hand corner! Didn't he also play well/score against Torino? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I could be wrong! I'm not sure it's his motivation against the smaller teams that's the problem, but he's a player who shows his worth when Milan need it the most! If they really need him against a smaller team I think he can show up then too! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Whether he's consistent or not, also in the league he's a regular starter - so Carlo must have a reason for playing him so much. One of those reasons is he's an amazing player who can come up with a moment of brilliance even if he's not on his game. He's a complete player who came up from the legendary Ajax youth team to play total football - he has so many strings to his bow, so to speak.

I think it's Sneijder (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Indeed! Apart from Paolo (& now that Billy's retired) I think Seedorf's the most experienced member of our team! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Sorry if I've said a lot of the same things as you R7, but it just goes to show we're of a like mind here (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) It makes a change for me to be of a like mind with someone, as most of the time I think differently to most people here (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Not that any of us are wrong necessarily (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
