I think he has a bright future .. He played very good for the Spanish in the WC. If you are getting a defender from Argentina (Grimi), one that you practically know nothing about .. Why would you say no to a potential talent, like Ramos ?
*

No, he's not a good defender at all! Most of the goals conceded by Spain came from the space he left behind him, he may be a good defender in La Liga but never in Serie A!
Anyway, may be in 4-5 years he'll be good enough (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

So you wouldn't mind a complete unknown on your part, an 18 yr old Argentinian, but you would mind one of Madrid's rising stars ?! I didnt say he was excellent, I said Very Good . And that is how he is playing .. Well compare him to Bonera and you'll get an answer

what's wrong with Bonera!!? The guys is a CB and he played very good in that position against Catania... he even saved our asses when he cleared the ball off the line... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

IMO he's a very good CB... worth being in Milan!!

Not that I can recall  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Besides he is not such a good defender imo. Especially not good enough for Serie A

in the RM forum they say, that we wanted him some years back... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Both as a cb and rb, Ramos is better than him.

You don't have to agree with me, as you don't have to disagree with me .. Cuz it's not the case ..

My point here, isn't who is better than who, it's why say no to Ramos when we have an ageing defence and when nobody is saying anything about Grimi coming. In anycase, wether the news in true or not, Milan are in need of replacments .. And Ramos is promising, he is a first team player in Madrid. What more can I say ?

Alright.. for dst's edification,I'm gonna humour him. Bonera doesn't hold a candle to Ramos. He's a disgrace to Italian defenders everywhere.

Kaladze= (1000000000+Silvio's whole fortune) xtimes Bonera

And Ramos could outdefend Bonera even if Ramos was hopping on one leg throughout the match.

See, the 2 situations can't be compared, Grimi was supposedly bought for 2 million Euros, and he will probably only make a few appearences to see how he integrates with the team and all that.

If we buy Ramos it surely won't be for 2 mil (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) He will be an instant starter in our team for the kind of money Real would force us to spend on him. Plus the fact that I don't think is good enough would add to the theory of why the 2 situations can't be compared

Yeah right and Pirlo is the best goalkeeper ever!!

Kaladze=(1000000000+Silvio's whole fortune) xtimes Bonera's right ball!! He is a BIG FAT ball!!

Ramos hopping on one leg?? Well I thought that's what he does now... his left one is useless!!

thanks... (IMG:http://coolsmileys.net/sad/cry2.gif) (IMG:http://coolsmileys.net/sad/cry2.gif)

IMO Ramos is a good player and he looks like he has a future. But I think we should still go for Gallas. He will come for less money than Ramos would (for sure) he's of course better right now and still got 4 years of super world class football before him!!

So... I'd buy Belletti now (Oddo wouldn't want to be benched) and then in the summer for the French!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

Still, all $$ talk aside, how would you give a complete unknown a chance to play in Milan's first XI (even for a few mins) ... then when a player that carries not only potential, but has experienced big matchs comes into the picture .. Many come out and say not him ..

The idea as a whole .. It just doesn't make sense .. Cuz, believe it or not, Milan's defence isn't getting any better (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) .. And we need as much help as we can get.

p.s. .. In all honesty I'm hoping for one of these three' Barzagli, Mexes, or Chivu .. And Oddo as our right back. But whoever it turns out to be, I'm sure the club knows what's best.

Because Grimi would probably get a few mins each game when we are winning to see how he does, Ramos would instantly get into the first 11 for the money we spend for him. And as I said somewhere else I don't think he's good enough for serie A.

In the end it all falls back on the money we spend on them, if Grimi doesn't do well we can always loan him out it's 2 million Euros that have been spent on him not 30. If Ramos doesn't do well I wouldn't expect him to be loaned or soled for a lesser sum to the one we bought him.

Anyway, I think this is all fruitless since we won't be doing any deals with Real any time soon, the only deal I could see happening is Cassano's since Real want to get rid of him

You got a good point there. Maybe that transfer would calm down the things between the 2 clubs.

He may be unknown to us, but what makes you think he's unknown to a club like Milan? You think Braida found Kakà on YouTube? Did you even know about Gourcuff when we signed him? When it comes to youngsters, Milan is one of the most clubs to be trusted. I'm pretty sure the board knows what they're doing with Grimi.
