QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Oct 28 2006, 03:50 PM) Thats one of our big problems - Pirlo is not a DM. We ought to push Pirlo slightly further forward and remove his defensive shackles thus allowing him to play to his full potential. If Carlo really plays with Janku in front of Maldini on the left wing then we might get a chance to see more of Pirlo's magic ... Against Lille, playing the Xtree we created much more chances than we have been lately !! But I can't see why it should be Pippo to play the star on top; I'd opt for Oliveira !!

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Oct 28 2006, 06:10 PM) Because we need a striker to pick up the pieces... Only Oli has scored from a set-piece so far, right ?? Anyway ... it's not that big of an issue; those mostly favoured by the Xtree are the midfielders.

In my opinion it really doesn't matter. It hasn't been our formation that's been letting us down, it has been the form of the players. If Pippo, Clarence and Kaka are in top form then the 4-3-2-1 will kick the holy crap outta Inter.
What remains to be seen though is whether Carlo will take the gamble of taking Clarence off (if turtle gets lazy again) and puts in Oli, so we play a ragged 4-3-3 formation with Oli playing off Kaka. This would of course push Pirlo up. Meaning more pressure on our defence.
But in all honesty, I think it matters not if we lose small or lose big, we should push all out for a victory. I'll even take a draw in the next match coz our players are pooped, if this mean we walk out this match victors by a margin of 2 goals or more.

1h + 5min left ...
@Jack: Clarence lives (or that was the case until now to be strict) for this kind of games ... I expect a big match from him. If not then he should leave the team not the pitch come the end of the season !!

True that. This is what's gonna happen If Clarence explodes, Kaka inevitably follows suit and then Pirlo is in 12th heaven as his radar goes on overdrive. At this point of time, Ringhio goes ballistic and tells those merda "You f@ck with my boys I will tear your balls apart!" Which is when Il Capitone turns around and says "Alright kiddos, let's shut Portugal up about Zlatan, he is giving our boys in Milanfan a headache!" Nesta and Kaladze says "Aye aye cap'n!" Dida puts his hand up," Not to worry skipper, I got your back!" Carlo turns to Don Silvio and says,"Merda barbecue coming right up, you want fries to go with that?" (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) This could be a Scorcese movie. And it all hinges on our Ninja turtle.
