Luis MOntes scores then breaks leg

To be honest, he should've been sent off. I know he's ended up with a serious injury, but he shouldn't be making such reckless challenges. Fortunately the Ecuador player is ok.

That should have been a red card I agree, what a terrible challenge. Look how the Ecuador player's leg bends, he could have broken his leg too and in the end he suffered a torn ACL which is even worse. Well, if you manage to take out two players for months with one tackle, it probably should have been a red card.

They must be desperate. What's next, Mario Zagallo?

I had been hearing these rumors, and you had to be the bearer of bad news, my friend. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Dejected.

Truly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) Zagallo would be an improvement, though, personally speaking.

Dunga is the kind of manager Brazil needed. it's not a desperate move by any means.

Conte VERY close to becoming the new CT, reports that personal terms have been agreed. Very happy about this, there's no one better atm who can take the job. He'll elevate Italy to another level.

Danny's right. The sad thing is, when you look at the WCQ attendances, 40,000 would still be very good. Only Germany (52k), France (68k) and England (77k) broke an average of 50k - pretty shokcing really. You had Italy and Spain, top countries, get as low as 18k for a competitive game - I've been to Championship games with better attendances!

Italy's probable line-up today: Sirigu; Ranocchia, Bonucci, Astori; Candreva, Parolo, De Rossi, Marchisio, De Sciglio; Immobile, Zaza.

Hm...
