QUOTE (X-Offender @ Sep 1 2014, 01:55 AM) Biabiany in for Zaccardo and Niang? I'll take it. It depends mostly on: how much would Biabiany still cost us + his wages.

QUOTE (Danny @ Aug 31 2014, 10:22 PM) All the Chelsea fans I know REALLY rate him and think he'll be excellent at Milan.
A De Jong, MVG & Poli midfield isn't the worst. I think once Monto returns and takes Poli's place it will be a really balanced trio, I still say we need a top quality CM in order to be really competitive but considering we're dirth poor and spent a total of 4.7m throughout the summer on Rami, I think it's a pretty fantastic midfield. I read that Van Ginkel is mostly a box-to-box player rather than a creative CM, which is why we still need Monto or a new creative CM desperately imo QUOTE (Jack Bauer @ Sep 1 2014, 12:02 AM) We can theoretically but if he performs well Chelsea most probbaly would want to keep him or sell him for a sum we can't afford, not with this managment. So far this is probably our cheapest transfer window in Berlusconi era. Who knows, Chelsea have so much talent in midfield I don't really think they'll put up much of a fight if we really want him. What this mostly depends on is whether he'll want to stay or not, because if he does very well here and wants to stay I can see Galliani doing whatever he can to get him here permanently QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Sep 1 2014, 07:20 AM) It depends mostly on: how much would Biabiany still cost us + his wages. They're saying 3m, and I honestly can't see them offering him more than 1.5m at the most Honestly Biabiany would be nothing more than a sub here, I don't really understand why they want to bring him in, he's still not what Pippo wants and won't really improve the side as Honda and Menez are much better than him That being said, we'd be getting rid of Zaccardo and sending Niang on a much needed loan to a Serie A side that will give him the minutes he needs to improve that he won't be getting with us. It's a win win for us imo.

Biabiany is a depth player in a position we don't have depth in (winger) in exchange for a position we do have depth in (CB/Defence). Fair enough deal.
Btw. Rumours that a 51million pound deal has been agreed by Man United for Falcao! Any substance to it?

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Sep 1 2014, 06:53 PM) Ben Arfa on loan is one I would look at. Plays right wing, Newcastle would maybe even sell him cheap too as the manager clearly doesn't want him and has shown some great quality. Whether or not he'd be the good Ben Arfa or the bad Ben Arfa here, who knows. Nope. I support Newcastle and I want him out. So when I want him out of Newcastle, I don't want him in Milan. The only Newcastle player, I wanted in Milan was Cabaye. We should have landed him as soon as Seedorf was retired. Ben Arfa is out of shape, prone to team sabotaging temper tantrums and would be another of those when he's good he's brilliant but mostly he can't be arsed to turn up. So expect his first season to be great as he looks to prove a point, and then just tether off and be sulky.

QUOTE (William405 @ Sep 1 2014, 02:54 PM) One more thing, Cristante seems to be on his way out according to Sky Sport Italia for a fee of 6 million. Source: http://football-italia.net/55319/benfica-agree-cristante-feeCan't understand his sale to be honest! The fee is kinda lucrative for such a raw player, but he's Milan youth product. Shouldn't we be keeping our promising young players? Or does everyone have a price tag? We're getting Marco Van Ginkel for one season only, after all. people are going crazy about this, but personally I'm not too sad about it. The kid is good, but not that good, he's not 17 anymore, he's 21 (I think) and hasn't really shown anything that would indicate he'll be really great in the future, 6m for someone so young and never really had a run in a top flight team is a lot imo. I think it's good business, if Benfica sell him off for major cash in the future, then I'll happily bite my tongue, but atm, I think it's good business, and who knows, there's still time today, maybe there still one more player coming in after Biabiany
