Where's De Jong?

De Jong's on vacation until August.

Who's Simic now? I keep loosing track with the new names around.

Simic is another youth team player.

Inzaghi has said he is keen to send him on loan in order for him to get regular playing time though.

Oh, thanks.

I hear various reports (goal.com, ghheadlines.com) that Olympiakos renewed their interest in Michel Essien.

Didn't know they were interested to begin with. Good, maybe we can sell him for decent cash and get him off the books.

According to the usual round of sources, we're interested in Douglas Costa, Galliani met with his agent (the one with the name I can't spell, he's Tevez's agent as well IIRC) and we're also interested in Romulo.

Don't know how much weight I'd give to either, we're seemingly only focused on either guys we can't get or guys we don't really need

I can't see us getting much for Essien. Wrong side of 30, always injured, hasn't really put out regularly good performances for about 6 years.

- Cruzeiro are out of the race for Robinho due to his high wages demands. We have to find a "parking spot" for him before the MLS starts in March.
- As Fillipo mentioned, we're interested in Douglas Costa
- Galliani dined with Taarabt's agent, we might still be interested in signing him
- Monaco are ready to offer €20 million to Torino for Cerci

Great, that takes us out of the race

I thought the Taraabt situation was the opposite of that. He's not part of Pippo's plans

I'd really love it if we could go after Shaqiri...

...any links or just your wish? He's a winner, we'd need such players. But it's a dream.

Juve are heavily linked with him, the only way we'll ever go after young, exciting, talented players again is if Silvio sells the Club.

As of now, we'll continue to sign troubled rejects, free agents and average players.

Also, if we can't get rid of at least Robinho and Essien this summer, plus reduce Mexes's wage, I really can't see us making one decent move.

Very good! unfortunately, his name is a smokescreen for cerci, i suspect...
He'd be coming to a team outside of europe and that can't pay him very much.

The price is being set at 26M...I think the only way we get him is if Balo leaves...

He's playing in Russia. Does CL really matter in the face of all the other circumstances he'd have to deal with if he stayed there?

What circumstances? You make it sound like Russia is a warzone or something?

Well, they're certainly not ideal, if I was working there and it wasn't my home country and I happened to have an opportunity to work elsewhere, I'd certainly take it.
