Apparently we're still interested in Negredo. We want to get him on loan, but City are unlikely to grant us that wish as they paid €27 million for him last summer. His salary (€5 million) is also a problem. In the meanwhile, City are interested in Icardi.

De Jong: "Right now I'm thinking only about the WC, but I want to make it clear that I find myself very well in Milan. I've never asked the club to sell me and I have no problem staying, even with a different coach"

So, there's that.

Bit harsh. We've made 3 signings already, we're in for a bunch of others, and you're complaining about Muntari who you even admitted was a fair bit better under Seedorf?

If this is the worst thing to happen this summer I think it could be a lot worse!

This is very true! Admittedly at least Niang has almost certainly gone so you don't have to go for him any more. That said I actually joined you on that one. He had all the ability (IMO) but his attitude absolutely stunk.

Like a really poor man's Balotelli I suppose.

Selling Ibra for €18 million has been the most asinine decision Galliani has ever taken. It's like selling Messi for €35 million.

I am no fan of Galliani, but I blame this one on the Berlusconi family. My guess is that they made a sudden decision to reduce costs by selling Ibra + Silva (between the two they were going to cost almost 30M / year, salary + tax). We had offers for Silva, so that was easy. The problem with Ibra is that at 8M salary few teams can afford him, and at the time most teams who could afford him did not need him. So Galliani was stuck unloading him at low cost.

He had 1 or 2 games where he did slightly better in the double pivot than he did under Allegri. But that's not saying much considering how terrible he was in Allegri's 3-man midfield

This says Balo may be heading towards Arsenal. As part of the deal we may be getting Campbell (Costa Rican national, spent last season on loan to Olympiacos). Also, we are still after Mandzukic / Falcao, and we will be trying to sell (or get rid of) at least 5 out of the following: Kakà, Honda, Saponara, Robinho, Niang, El Shaarawy, Balotelli, Pazzini, Matri and Petagna.

This says we are still after Iturbe, but we are competing with Roma and Juve. Verona is asking for 25M.

This says we are after Ochoa again, though apparently half of Europe is after him as well.

We should go after Ochoa. He's still young for a keeper, a free-agent and especially if his display against Brazil is a true reflection of his abilities. C'mon Galliani, this is mercato heaven for you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Arsenal want Balotelli, Galliani won't let him go for less than 30 million pounds which are considered too much from Wenger. Galliani is hoping in a good WC from Balo, and a possible auction war between Arsenal and Monaco to elevate his price.

As FM! mentioned, we might get Campbell from Arsenal, and apparently we've reached an agreement with Verona for Iturbe on the basis of €25 million. We just need the money to finance it (by selling Balotelli).

Mandzukic is unlikely to happen, and Paloschi will be sold entirely to Chievo. For CF the alternatives remain Matri and Pazzini.

Matri and Pazzini? No f*cking way!
