Serie A is looking more competitive this coming season. This should help raise the quality of the league collectively. It is a good thing that there are 6-7 teams strengthening to target a CL spot.

I'm pretty confident that we won't do worse than this past year. We won't be challenging Juve by any means, but I wouldn't bet against making another CL spot. The "sky is falling" attitude may have been warranted after selling Ibra and Silva, but we haven't done anything like that this time around. (yet)

The most important of our transfer activity will most likely be after the preliminary CL phase. Allegri's fate is also tied to it. Once we are confirmed through and get CL money. |

Perhaps a big star will replace Cavani. I don't have much faith in Allegri either, but we did get to 3rd last year after blowing up our team, and had the most points in the league in 2013 with largely a young, inexperienced squad. We may not have an influx of new signings, but the simple experience gained and a year of playing together should help improve our squad from last year, to a certain extent. And of course I don't mean to say that I think it's all sunshine and rainbows for next season, but the level of doom and gloom I keep reading seems to be an over-exaggeration to me.
