This is what worried me about Cerci when we were linked to him, he might have had a good season with his just promoted side, but he's nothing more than average, just shined in a team that lacked any decent quality.
I seriously wonder why with every tournament there are spots wasted on a team on these types of players as they ALWAYS fizzle out and disappoint.
Balo goal.

QUOTE (William405 @ Jun 16 2013, 09:36 PM) balooooooooooooo!!!
Speaking of milan players, abate has been very mediocre today I think he's been good, just quiet. He's kept his side of the pitch trouble free, so defensively it's a solid performance, he just hasn't had the opportunity to really bomb down his flank like he usually does with us, instead they're going up through the left side. Something we don't do which is why with Milan DS looks like the quieter one because we mostly go through the right

Carci is 2 steps behind his team mates' thought processes. We seriously cannot be after this guy

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Jun 16 2013, 09:49 PM) Han, did you miss Abate's mistake where Guardado hit the post? not that trouble free. Hmm, yep, could have. Did this happen in the first half because I missed a few minutes of that to get something to eat (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) But since I've been here, he's been good, so that doesn't count (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Abate - average to bad display; Dos Santos didn't attack to often, but when he decided to pressure him, he usually came away with the ball or at least a free kick.
Montolivo - would have expected more presence out of him and more precision, but a solid performance.
Balotelli - again, match-winner, but the man should grow up; pointless debates, creating a sour atmosphere with his constant quarreling, and a pointless yellow card as well.
De Sciglio - very good performance, that's the way! Hopefully Prandelli will keep picking him instead of the other options.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) so you missed it. apart from that fuckup he was good. I'm baffled to see the likes of Giaccherini, Cerci and Gilardino there though. I really don't want Prandelli at Milan anymore. there's something about him that I don't enjoy, he seems more suited to be a Juve coach. besides, with all the **** players we have, there's no guarantee he won't have his Muntari's and Niang's to torture us with.

Oh yes, one detail...why is De Rossi playing with a long left sleeve and a short right? I did mention this earlier as well.

Agreed about Balo and DS, Balo's contstant yellow card accumulation is just ridiculous. I think he has 1 for each game he's played for us, and to get one for something as ridiculous as taking your shirt off just p!sses me off badly. I seriously hope that this game was a good enough eye opener for Prandelli. The back 4 should stay as is for the rest of this tournament barring suspension/injury. To put Chiellini - who is easily the best CB on this team - out wide and play a bone head of Bonucci's calibre in the centre, is just baffling. DS proved himself tonight that he's ready to be a starter on that left side, and unless Santon is on the team his position should not even be in question. As for Abate and Monto, I think they both had decent to solid performances. Abate didn't really get to stretch his legs and do what he does best and while I did not witness his mistake I thought that otherwise he was solid defensively. Nothing great but did his job well. As for Monto, I think you're being a bit too harsh on him, he can't be the focal point of this team and step up because unlike Milan, this team is not centred around him. He's just a lateral albeit important puzzle piece of that midfield, just like De Rossi and Marchisio.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jun 17 2013, 12:02 AM) We're not after him anymore, since we decided to switch back to 4-3-1-2.
The amazing thing about Pirlo is that, at his age, he's played nearly every game with both Juventus and Italy this season, and at such a period he's still in top form. Just amazing. What I find even more amazing is the fact that this was a player with the "injury-prone" stamp. Yet another mysterious MilanLab story. Anyone watching Spain and Uruguay? Spain makes me frustrated. I can easily seen them winning yet again next year in Brazil. But their body language alone (the constant falling and appealing to the referee) is irritating enough alone to be against them, at least if you ask me.
