No need, because Mesbah and Traore are just fillers. They didn't play more then 90 minutes this season, so they're pretty irrelevant.

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Dec 14 2012, 09:16 AM) No need, because Mesbah and Traore are just fillers. They didn't play more then 90 minutes this season, so they're pretty irrelevant. The problem is they bulk up our squad and weigh down our wage bill. These guys need to be offloaded first thing in January before we even think about signing anyone

Look..for all we know they're probably brought in as favours for other clubs. Or we genuinely made a mistake. Not every single transfer can be Noce right.
I agree they need to be offloaded. And I prefer offloading Robinho if we must in summer. The position he occupies is too critical for a new player to just come in and replace without a problem. God forbid, we end up in January having to find a new formation/tactic again. We know how long it takes Max to come up with one that works. :-)
It breaks my heart, but for me Flamini is the one that should go.
Gabriel - Loan Flamini- Permanent Traore - Permanent Mesbah - Permanent Vila - Loan (though I feel wrong about this, since we haven't even seen him play)
Of course, Permanent or loan with option would be the same I imagine. These are definite moves. All the rest if they moved, would require immediate replacements.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Dec 12 2012, 02:09 PM) Why do people have this misconception that City will sell for a cut price? They will absolutely not. City wanted 40m for Tevez, they got a 40m offer from Santos, but because it was in too many installments they said no. They will set a price for Balo and stick to it, that price will be something we can't afford. Because at some point they may have to deal with FFP, and they are not going to accomplish that without reducing player wages, and that will not happen if they hold on to players that just worm the bench. QUOTE Manchester City announce huge losses for second year running. The Blues posted a deficit of €120m for the financial year ending May 2012, though this was significantly less than the €243m marked down for the previous 12 months. Source = goal.com So getting some money + a reduction in wages may look good to them at some point. OTOH, that does not mean that they will just cave in and accept a ridiculous offer. On a related note, I would not trust anything said by Galliani (or any other executive at Milan or other teams) until the transfer season is over. Even if you are trying to offload a player, you probably still want to extract maximum value, which means you will set the price high and explain to everyone why you cannot afford to lose the player. Similarly, if you want to buy someone you may still claim that you are "fully covered" in the role, and getting a new player is unnecessary. Finally, any reason "Winter Transfers 2013" is not "pinned"?

QUOTE (Forza Milan! @ Dec 14 2012, 10:00 PM) Because at some point they may have to deal with FFP, and they are not going to accomplish that without reducing player wages, and that will not happen if they hold on to players that just worm the bench. And that's all well and good, but as I said, they'll have more than just an offer from us on the table. Is a player going to move for 20m on £100k a week to *insert big club* or free on £80k a week to Milan. I think both the player and Man City will pick one option, not us.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Dec 14 2012, 06:13 PM)  According to Corriere dell Sport: - We've found an agreement about Romanian defender Chiriches, which includes a loan with purchase option of €7 million at the end of it;
- Acerbi might be directly swapped with Kucka;
- Robinho is valued €12 million by the club.
How good is this Chiriches guy?
