QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 27 2012, 05:42 PM) I still don't understand why we didn't get Sahin on loan. He would have been a perfect solution for us, albeit short term, as Madrid would probably want him back next season. It's like our management want to be idiots on purpose. Maybe he rejected playing for Milan and wanted the Premiership? QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 27 2012, 05:58 PM) According to Sky Sport, Galliani wasn't angry with team in the locker room after the defeat yesterday. Instead, he calmly analyzed the game. Furthermore, he promised to Allegri a few important signings before the window closes. LinkAt least something that gives hope. And he did well not to react with anger. This team needs some confidence boost.

It looks like the Kaká deal is practically abolished. Madrid don't want to give him on loan, so we ordered Bronzetti not to travel to Madrid to negotiate with Perez, and Galliani went to France this morning in order to sign Niang as the alternative. LinkI swear, we have become cheaper than Genoa, Fiorentina and Palermo. Madrid are willing to give us Kaká on a golden plate, yet we only want him for free. We play cat and mouse with every club for mediocre amounts. I just refuse to accept that we are so broke. How come Inter can spend €11-12 million for the likes of Pereira, Guarin and Palacio, whilst we can't afford to bring one decent replacement for all the champions that left this summer? This is beyond ridiculous. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 27 2012, 12:08 PM) Why, does our budget depend on what day it is? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Maybe Silvio plans to rig a lottery drawing later this week. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

And to think, this transfer window started out so promising. Knowing the old gaurd would be leaving but with names like Strootman, Monto, Tevez, Sahin, Balzaretti and Kaka being thrown into the mix. I personally really thought that we'd keep the core of the team and buy 2 or 3 players to really reinforce the positions that were lacking a bit (LB, DM and AM mostly). Fast forward 3 months and we've thrown out a starting 11 that would, realistically, do better than the one we're stuck with now. Let's see shall we Roma Zambro--Nesta--Silva--Taiwo Aqui--VB--Rino Seedorf Zlatan--Cassano Notable mentions: Maxi, Merkel vs Abbiati Abate--Mexes--Zapata--Antonini Constant--Monto--Nocerino Boateng Pato--Pazzini Notable mentions: Robinho, Flamini, Ambro, El Shaa And this is only assuming that Allegri actually plays the best line-up we have instead of letting his petty grudges get in the way of that...

I love reading your posts guys, thanks for all the input and the different points of view i get from here - not just about the transfers!
So here is one small thought and point of view from me.
I guess i am not the only one wandering.....
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH MILAN THIS TIME AROUND?
SERIOUSLY! WTF????
Some Stuff i read and see what is happening to this great club makes me sad! I am not from Milan, nor am i Italian.. But the main reason for me to love Milan as a club was what i tought its philosophy is. I always loved the fact that we would always keep our long term employees, the ones who the fans cared about with our first squad. Costacurta and Maldini just to quickly name two. We also seemed to always get the best out of players as well. Kaladze springs in mind --- Only kidding
Now i don't see these values anymore.... Its now going to a point becoming where it is hard to start likening an individual player... just because ...when he performs he's gonna be sold in the next transfer window. And that hurts when you like someone! At least for me it does!
Now, i do understand the fact that there is FFP coming, and that Italy does not seem tho mostly get full stadiums, the tax situation for the players in not advantageous, the league is not that attractive anymore..
But i cannot believe were at SUCH a low point where we try to sign Ze Eduardo as a important second player to pato (when is injured - unfortunately a lot). Nothing against him, but a player that failed at Genoa? Anyhow.. there are more different ones mentioned where i just think REALLY?
I still love Milan! Just because! Buts its not easy as a fan nowadays...
So after all this.. my point. If Fester does not bring Kaka back after all there stories i read here.. then i just don't believe he's capable. And i don't understand why all this effort we make is so late! Its hard to relate to a player now. Really liked Silva, Really liked Kaka, really liked Maldini etc. I also like Pato, but the bad luck he has just seem like they won't stop (i guess like the most Milanfans). I think Kaka could fit that role.. Also because of age and history.. he won't be sold (even tho i am not anymore 100% sure). He would be so much worth for the team.. Creative, Leader, Loves and wants to play for Milan, Shirt sales... etc.
AND WE DONT WANT TO SPEND ANYTHING ON HIM? BUT 7 MIL AND CASSANO FOR PAZZINI?
This version would suit me better: Cassano to Inter.. Inter would give us whoever, and we spend the 7MIL on Kaka.. Apparently he's even cheaper..
The other 3-2 MIL for NIANG.... There you go problem, a small part of the problem solved.
We have to wait and see i guess... But its getting harder and harder!
But thats only me.. Sorry for the long post! I normally don't post often as you can see. So won't bother you too much! Hope it's not all in the wrong topic!
