Pazzini could be good for us, I'm just saying it's bad because I think 7.5m is a a lot of money. If he was younger I'd understand but he's 28 already, not that much younger than Cassano who throughout his career has displayed higher qualities than Pazzo even if that has always come with more craziness too.

I believe 2-3m would be fair though I'm not sure why we'd have to give anything at all, I mean, Pazzo was unwanted while Cassano is only leaving because he wants to.

edit: so Pazzo still had 3 years on his contract compared to one for Cassano right? Still can't see how Inter get more than 3m for a player they do not want when they get a better player in exchange.

There's no denying that on the face of it, Inter have got the better deal. Let's wait and see how it unfolds (and then we can start chasing Galliani with pitchforks!)

We overpaid a bit but its important to remember casannos medical history has a huge splotch on it. That lowers his value considerably.

I would be satisfied with Diarra and Kaka...I think both would really help us. I personally like Diarra a lot.

Lass is a good player in my books, based on his appearances with Madrid, he does raise the intensity of a game with his high work-rate.

As for Kaka', he wont be the same. He doesn't have Seedorf and Pirlo, Montolivo and KPB instead. I doubt he will make the difference, having said that, he will increase quality no doubt.

I don't prefer players anymore, most of the good ones are out of our price range ... So if we end up with Lass & Kaka' I wouldn't be too disappointed.

But you know what? Given the frenzy of FFP, I have a strong feeling that one of its after-effects is that player-valuations will be dropped to at-least the pre-Abramovic era. These crazy figures of 70MM, 90MM and 100MM that we have seen in recent years should be lowered eventually. Hence there is hope down a two/three years time.
