QUOTE (amancik @ Aug 16 2012, 12:14 AM) I think Shaqiri is more of a winger. But I don't know maybe he could also play in the middle. He can play everywhere in the midfield, but he's the best at right wing. He does great as an attacking midfielder too. It's a shame we didn't get him. QUOTE (Dracoris @ Aug 16 2012, 01:08 AM) I guess I'm alone in thinking that bringing Kaka back is a really smart move for the club.
For 8mil a season its not such a great deal though. Doubt thats what we'll pay him. Probably in the 5m range. You're not alone. I agree with you, Milan will never pay him 8 mil. wages, I read Kaka and Milan agreed on 5.5 m + bonuses. Nevertheless, he'll add a lot to the team. He'll calm the fans, cold the bloods of the players, add a lot technically to the squad. I believe he doesn't have those dribbling skills anymore, but he's a great passer, creator and assister. A fast duo like Robinho and Pato should/would benifit a lot from him.

QUOTE (d'Arc.LP @ Aug 16 2012, 02:40 AM) We were linked with him last season, I remember well. The reported fee was 15m. He can play as an DM or anchor. Maybe Bayern's coach wants to change from a 4-2-3-1 into a 4-5-1. Javi Martinez also can play as central defender, and very well. Jérôme Boateng has been a disappointment in central defense in my opinion. I'd trust Dante over him any day of the week. They won't change the formation, I don't see why. 4-2-3-1 and 4-5-1 are pretty much the same, by the way, so what changes you have in mind anyway? QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 16 2012, 02:41 AM) He'll probably take Luis Gustavo's place. Neuer Lahm - Boateng - Badstuber - Alaba Martinez - Schweinsteiger Robben - Muller - Ribery Gomez
No? I would bench Boateng, and form a central defense existing of two of Dante, Badstuber and Martinez. Also, Kroos is the starting attacking midfielder. Thomas Müller will start many games, but is probably nowhere first choice. Badstuber and Martinez in central defense, with Schweinsteiger and Luiz Gustavo in central/defensive midfield, would be very good, and much better than what Bayern had last season. They upgraded where they needed to. Schweinsteiger and Martinez in midfield is very possible as well, but also then I'd bench Boateng thus play Dante.

Dante over Boateng? Not sure. I'd rather bench Badstuber, if you ask me, he's the really terrible pick. Martinez the kind of player Bayern like - just like Demichelis and Tymoschuk or Hargreaves before them, he can play both DM and CB. That's why he's a good match.
And I doubt Robben will be considered a starter.

Dont you guys realize that selling Ibra was the main discussion ever since ibra fall out with allegri and in order to justify it they include Silva as well thus restarting a project which will be built around Pato whereas on the other hand it will lower salary expenses down to the ground while claiming to re-candidate for president or prime minister whoever it is. this was all planned wisely.
