Of the 9,000+ tickets that had been sold when Milan announced people could be reimbursed, only 72 people have asked for their money back.

Brave people. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

You believe him? Almost the exact same thing to the letter was said about Ibra.

You can't compare both situations. I don't know how much up to date you are with our current situation, but you must realize that our reality has changed big time this summer. We've literally become a second-rate club, we don't invest into big names anymore, our signing policy so far has been free agents and loans. We're willing to spend only 6-8 million for each player we're interested in. Kaká will arrive only, and I mean only if Madrid give him on a free loan to us, and the player agrees to reduce his wage by 50% or more. And if Galliani says it's an almost impossible operation, then I thoroughly believe him. The guy has no more incentive of lying to the fans, not after what happened with Silva and Ibra this summer.

Nope, he said ALMOST an impossible operation. That is drastically a key word. He has plenty of incentive of making statements like that in order to negotiate in the media so to speak. I don't think Madrid wants to keep Kaka, specifically because of his wages. I understand that Spain now has a tax law similar to Italy which means they will need to trim the fat and Kaka will not get that kind of wage anywhere else unless someone like PSG steps in and he is willing to go there only for the cash. If he wants to make the World Cup Squad, if he's a true Milanista, and if he just wants to simply play instead of riding the bench then he'll take the wage cut. Galliani knows this and that's why he will hold out until the last day and swoop in when Madrid is desperate.

I think he's coming. We still have a couple weeks of speculating though.

Lol, the Boriello rumour is just too funny. Why would we want to get a player we already got rid of more than THREE times FFS???

It is pretty funny.

Imagine if it happened!?

Madrid are not desperate to get rid of him. Mourinho said whether he stays or goes won't make much of a difference. I understand that selling him would benefit them the most, but do you honestly see Perez giving him away for free after spending the beauty of €65 million to sign him 3 years ago? It would be downright idiotic.

Of course Mourinho says that!! Its all negotiation tactics...listen I'm not saying it won't be hard, but I'm saying we'll get it done.

Not exactly the tax law applies only to the new contracts. The old ones signed remain the same. Kaka will not be getting en extension though.

It's actually more sad than funny. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I'd much rather get Paloschi back.

I'd rather not. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) Not after that goal celebrations he did after scoring against us in Roma. And Juventus.

GdS: Galliani have already reached an agreement with Kaka to reduce his salary. The problem is to convince Madrid for low-cost/free loan.

Exactly, if Madrid give him to us low-cost, it makes them as laughable as Barca, and they don't want to do it. It's a respect thing.

They'll give in. No one is as interested as we are.

Yes, but they are in the position where money is a luxury and thanks to Barca pride is not.

I don't know if that's good or bad. if Borriello is our only other option then I'd take Matri on the spot.

Can't stand to see Borriello around anymore. he reminds me of bad days.

16 million for Matri is madness though. That's the last thing we should do. It would ruin the whole cheap business.

Borriello would be close to a nightmare signing though. I believe we were very fortunate with Borriello's form during that season, you know which. I expect a huge disappointment if we'd sign him.
