How does Destro compare to El Shaarawy? I know they are similar age but is Destro farther along in his development? I wouldn't mind dumping Robinho and having both for the future.

I have no idea, actually. I can't remember anything from him from the past season, but half of Serie A and many European clubs want him, so he must somewhat good.

-The Milan board has decided at today's meeting that if potential buyers for Robinho or Ibra don't show up soon, we might re-open negotations for Silva to PSG.


-We are currently in talks with KAC Jednota Kosice regarding their 16-year old Slovak midfielder, Jakub Hromada. He is an upcoming talent.


-Ganso's situation with Santos has taken a turn for the worst. After recently declining to a contract extention, he has furthermore refused to play anymore games until Santos sort his situation out. He was not featured in the last game vs gremio. He is very unhappy and wants to leave the club. We are linked.


-Delcir Sonda (who owns 55% of his rights from DIS) has said: "He [Ganso] won't play for Santos again. That's definite," he told Radio Estadao ESPN on Sunday.

"Ganso is annoyed with Santos. They came up with a project for Neymar, but forgot about him."
"Ganso could play for Internacional. I'm negotiating with Santos. He wants to leave, but stay in Brazil for another year," he concluded.





-PSG have once again contact Milan regarding Silva. Leonardo is quite keen to bring the brazillian to paris.


-Di Matteo (chelsea's coach) has scheduled a meeting with Mino Raiola regarding a potential move for Ibrahimovic after having a 20m Euro bid for leverkusen striker andre Shurle. Chelsea are looking for someone to fill Drogba's void and they have identified Ibra as a potential candidate. Reports suggest that Roman is willing to pay him 12m per season, which is an increase from his current contract of 9m.



-Arsenal have joined the race to sign Ganso. It is reported that they are willing to bid 20m Euros.



-Cigarini has said that Milan had approached him.


"I know that my agent spoke with AC Milan, Fiorentina and Rubin Kazan. Milan's offer wasn't concrete, but they did make an approach for me," Cigarini was quoted as saying by L’Eco di Bergamo.

"There were some tempting offers, but I eventually chose Atalanta because I feel at home here. I always wanted Atalanta and I'm glad that they agreed terms with Napoli."




-Manchester City have told Roque Santa Cruz, Kolo Toure, Eman Adebayor that they are no longer needed at the club and to find a solution.

City are currently evaluating the positions of Aleksander Kolarov, Stefan Savic, Nigel de Jong, Adamn Johnson and James Milner. They may also be transfer listed as Mancini wants to bring about a lift to the club in preparation for the champions league and Sheik Mansour wants to lower the wage bill.

The Silva rumors are bullshit. When will journalists ever learn? Oh, right, never.

The day that they earn money by staying silent?

They can also earn money by not inventing ridiculous stuff. I know the guy who spread out this latest Silva rumor. He's called Paolo Bargiggia and he works for Mediaset as their calciomercato expert. A respectable guy overall, but boy does he love coming up with the weirdest calciomercato scenarios every now and then!

People should know better that by extending Silva's contract and increasing his wage, we pretty much closed that door, at least for this summer. The story that our board wants to sell Silva if we don't sell Ibra or Robinho instead is quite fascinating.

-Vertonghen: "Milan and Arsenal wanted me, I'd rather join them but I wouldn't be a guaranteed starter there so I signed for Spurs."


-Pazzini: I’m leaving Inter. Pazzini has been told by Inter that he is excess and to find a solution. Pazzini joins Julio Cesar among the list of unwanted players at inter.


-Mourinho has told Kaka that he is not in his plans for next season. However, Kaka's desire is to remain at Madrid. He has told the Madrid board that if he were to leave Madrid he would only go to Milan and has declined the chance to play at PSG or somewhere in brazil.

Reports suggest Madrid may give Kaka to Milan on a free transfer as they wish to take his 12m/yr salary of their wage bill to make room for Luca Modric.


-We have contacted Manchester City about a possible move for Kolarov. Mancini is not convinced by the serbians quality and may send him to milan on loan+buy option. With Taiwo and mesbah set to exit, Milan are looking for a fullback.


-Galliani has once again contact Madrid over a possible move for Diarra. Milan may change their approach as Diarra has rejected Milan twice in the past.


-Ibrahimovic has told his agent Mino Raiola that he would like to leave Milan this summer. Chelsea are interested and he has asked him to negotiate a possible move. Di matteo and Raiola have scheduled a meeting for sometime this week.


-City have contacted us about a possible move for Edin Dzeko. City are willing to sell him to us for 24 million split into 4 payments. Milan may use Ibrahimovic as a part of a swap deal with city.



-Barcelona prepare a bid of 40 million euros for Javi Martinez.

More news on the Dzeko piece. It looks like Mancini has told Galliani that Dzeko is availble and things can be negotiated. They want 24m split into 4 payments but they are willing to negotiate an even more flexible deal that suits milan. Dzeko has told mancini that if he were to leave city, he wants milan as his first choice.


Seems like mancini wants to clear out alot of players this summer. Kolarov, dzeko, toure, johnson, adebayor, etc.

Very true. Particularly if Real throws Kaka our way for free. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I don't know, maybe Robinho could still leave, what with Milan asking him to choose a couple of clubs, either Malaga or another one. This would mean a couple of new signings for sure. Ibra = Dzeko + cash. Kaka in for $0. Robinho out. Who knows.

Ibra will only choose City or Madrid. It's the beginning of the transfer window, and really, anything can happen.

I really don't think Dzeko can fill Ibra's shoes, Ibra is the only reason as to why we managed to do what we did last season, he dragged us kicking and screaming until the final 2 games of the season. Dzeko won't be able to do that, if Pato and Cassano have another nightmare season then I don't know where the goals would come from.

Totally agreed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I deliberately left our Chelsea, because there is very little chance they'll win the CL again this year. And our man just wants to win the biggest European prize, the Big Ears. And frankly, the two strongest contenders for the Champions League this upcoming season are really City and Madrid.

But if Chelsea does some good signings, and layout their project to Ibra, he very well could be persuaded, true.

I personally would like to see Robinho go, especially if there is any chance of Kaka coming back. Ibra imo is priceless for us at this point, I just don't think Dzeko could in any way do what Ibra does for us, be it in build up play and scoring goals


Now that's something I''d really like to see

That's pretty good, especially if we don't manage to get anyone in for the DM position. This way Robinho's wage is offloaded, same for Taiwo and Mesbah although they weren't making a lot to begin with. And I think we can work something out economically with both Kaka and Kolarov that would satisfy both parties
