Our weakest link, is the defense and midfield. With the exception of TS, we have no one noteworthy. Quality wise, we are far below in those two departments, in comparison to previous teams constructed under the berlusconi era, that is IMO.
Pirlo was not renewed for several factors, namely he did not feature enough due to injury in his last season and his economical demands did not match the clubs strategy. His quality as a player was never in doubt.
All clubs are looking at three years of restructuring, both in terms of the finances&budgets and squad structure. In previous years we could afford teams that had Shevchenko, Kaka, Rui, Pirlo, Seedorf, Gattuso, Inzaghi, etc in their prime. While now that has been reduced to what we have on hand.
Moving forward, Galliani has already prepared for this, thus the exit doors were openned to make-way for the new Milan. I believe we will bring in several good players, as this is what the club needs to challenge. If we don't, its expected that come May 2013, we wont have anything to show for.

Yeah, apparently Modrić got Kaka's shirt number already, so the Brazilian will definitively leave.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jul 8 2012, 12:11 PM) How can our target be De Jong or Sahin? They're completely different players. I really don't believe anything the media says at the moment. Let's get back to it in August. This
