QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jul 2 2012, 07:44 PM) We'd be lucky if we signed Balzaretti. I don't see it happening, though. He's a good player, the experience is what we need. The game against Spain, the team was just tired, but the games leading up to the final, you could see his strengths; things that would ease our headaches when we think about the lb. In general, I don't think anyone should be disappointed with Prandelli. He took the team from a tough group and to the final. He had to deal with a fire-cracker in Mario, and he had the critics ready to pinch at him ... Reaching the final in such fashion has to be noted, but its fatigue in addition to playing Spain, the reigning Euro&World Cups champions. There was never a question in that Spain would play the way they did, Italy just couldn't run anymore. Kadus to Spain, fully deserved ... And Italy should keep the chin up, things are looking promising for them.

OK so how many titles have Casillas, Xavi and Iniesta won now? I'm hearing they all bought new bigger houses.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jul 2 2012, 02:16 PM) Well, you know Kurt. EVERYTHING'S A CONSPIRACY!!! Nah, just when it's an obvious fix. You may think it's ridiculous, but then to me it's just as silly and naive when those just say "oh mistakes happen, there's nothing wrong here". It's all too convenient an excuse when the same teams keeping getting help. Football has basically become like wrestling to me. Yeah, someone is "World Champion", but it doesn't really mean anything, it's fake.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jul 3 2012, 07:45 PM) One thing that amazes me about Spain is that there's a very fierce, and sometimes exaggerated rivalry between Madrid and Barcelona in La Liga that could somehow compromise the relationships of those two club's Spanish players (which form the majority of the roster), but none of that is even reflected in the NT. They're all very united and eager for success. Pretty admirable IMO. (IMG: http://images.gazzetta.it/Hermes%20Foto/2012/07/03/0M6BUCYF--300x145.jpg) This so for the first time in history. Spain had pretty awesome teams in the past as well, all failed exactly on that detail.

So, what changes will happen after the Euro in terms of NT coaches? Who'll go?

Blanc. Confirmed. Maarwijk also confirmed. As well as Bilic.
Roy, Prandelli, Del Bosque and probably Loew are sure to stay I guess.
