Keeping Silva and signing Montolivo, Destro and Diarra wouldn't be a disaster of a window.

I often complain about this excuse, but Pato and KPB can't be injured next season as much as they were this, so having them back will be a boost too.

Agreed.

I do still think that we need a proper LB and another CM though...

As for Pato and Prince, who knows what will happen, but if we manage to keep the injuries to a minimum than we'll be ok, last season's failure has to be attributed to the injuries, at least 75% of it

Bosingwa hasn't been good for years, since his injury. I like Kalou though, very underrated in my opinion.

Galliani just said that mercato is closed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Before we go ballistic, we have 5 transfers in already. Acerbi, Constant, Traore, Montolivo and Gabriel.

And Raiola says again that Ibra is not guaranteed to stay and it depends on Milan.

QUOTE
Milan are reportedly close to securing Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra after his talks with Spartak Moscow broke down.

The French midfielder is among those surplus to requirements in Jose Mourinho’s Liga champions.

He had been heavily linked with a switch to Spartak Moscow, but it is now rumoured those negotiations have hit problems.

Milan are not eager to take on Diarra’s wages, but according to Spanish sources Real will help to push through the move.

The Madrid side will give him a farewell bonus of €2m, which can then be used to smooth over the lower wages.

However, Galliani has said our mercato is closed.

Meh. every team makes as many random signings as those 5 plus a few big ones in every summer transfer window.

This whole Thiago Silva saga will cost us by the end of this transfer window. And yes, I could see Ibra leave.

Ibra can leave whenever he pleases as far as I'm concerned. we could use the $$$ to buy come players and cover the holes in our squad.
