2-0 Alonso. Nonexistant penalty ends the torture.

Barcelona's tika-taka syndrome has reached it's highest ground. The endless passing is more similar to handball then football. The Marseille slogan Droit au but seems so distant these days. Even Germany tend to complicate more then usually.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) The awkward moment when people start to agree with me that France were a complete and utter disappointment this tournament after rating England's performance against them!

Didn't watch the game, it was never going to be interesting as a neutral.

Reveillere brought Pedro (and himself) down and never touched the ball. 100% penalty. even the French players didn't argue, it was that obvious.

I only watched the 2nd half, worst Euro game since England-France. I blame the French! though Spain are not really exciting to watch themselves.

Went out and sort of half paid attention to it. Spain bore me and I don't find them interesting to watch - despite the insistance of certain people on twitter who seemingly think I am wrong to feel that way.

France from what I saw offered very little, which isn't surprising when you have Nasri and Menez on the bench. Benzema is not really that good a player as I have always said. Without World class players around him he looked completely lost.

Did Casillas actually make any saves tonight? Cause I honestly can't remember any.

Yeah not many. Just looking at his positioning from set pieces and overall composure prompted me to make that comment. I don't watch Madrid games anymore because of their utter arrogance. But this guy is the most likable character on that team and it's a shame I don't get to see him much. Just possesses that killer mentality for a goalkeeper. Just for a side by side contrast, Greek GK anyone? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Yep, watched the reply. Definitively a penalty.

Does anybody like Fabregas? I think he has to be my most hated player in football. He shows no sportsmanship or respect for any opposition. I can't say I miss his disgraceful antics in the Premier League.

Why do you think that?

They have some WC winners among them and they are on paper a more experienced side. They are the ones under pressure as they are facing a less experienced team that just changed its coach a couple of months ago.

This kind of penalties should not be awarded in my view, Pedro could not possibly go down with that push, a 15 year old would not go down with that push!

Imaginary card waving, diving, complaining at the red when his dives aren't rewarded, etc. he does it to a ridiculous level compared to anyone else I know.

Busquets is a worse simulator, but he's nowhere as aggressive in his appeals and complaints.

I remember an FA Cup game against a low league team for Arsenal. The game was nearly over, they put a cross in and Bendtner clearly dives for a penalty. Fabregas runs 30 yards screaming at the ref enranged that the player should be sent off.

This was the last minute. Against a low league team. It wasn't even a foul. It didn't even matter given the scenario, but Fabregas was still intent on getting the guy sent off for nothing. I wouldn't wish an injury on a player, but I certainly wouldn't care if he got one.

Nice to see a more Rossoneri friendly Italy line up. Hopefully our boys will make us proud!
