Kaka could return to Milan

There are surprise rumours that Ricky Kaka could return to Milan just three years after his €70m move to Real Madrid.

The Brazilian talent was sold to raise funds for the Rossoneri in June 2009, but has suffered from numerous injury problems, including knee surgery that kept him out for eight months.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Kaka is ready to break away from Real Madrid and negotiating to terminate his contract.

This could also suit the Spaniards, who have three more years on the deal worth €11m per season.

It is also reported that Kaka could come in to Milan as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who’d be sold to Madrid in order to reunite with Jose Mourinho from their time together at Inter.

It would give Ibra the opportunity to test himself in La Liga without the tension he had at Barcelona with then-Coach Pep Guardiola.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is pleased that Milan decided not to sell Thiago Silva and confirmed he’ll stay, but urged the club to “bring in new players.”

The Rossoneri had been in advanced negotiations with PSG for a €47m move, but President Silvio Berlusconi pulled the plug at the last minute.

“Milan are a club who want to win and if they want to keep winning then they have to keep Thiago Silva,” Ibrahimovic told Fotbollskanalen.se.

“I hope soon they will also bring in new players, that the team plays better and that there aren’t so many injuries.

“I am angry, but that just fires up the desire in me to keep going forward,” he said after Sweden’s elimination from Euro 2012.

“I will respect my contract with Milan and right now am focused only on playing for pride against France.

“I feel even more motivated than usual, as defeats don’t make me think negatively. I am not retiring from international football. Who will win Euro 2012? I couldn’t care less...”

one of the reasons to like Ibra is this...he has ambition.

If Kaka comes he'll spend half of the season on the treatment table and the other half flopping just like Sheva 2008-09.

Still, I wouldn't say no if he came for free.

I was asked about Ganso earlier. Where is he now? No links with big clubs, not many good games for Brazil either. He may be good, but from what I've seen he surely isn't anything that special.

That was mean.

Unlike $heva kaka has found his old form again with even mourinho admitting it. The question now is just how effective can he be for us. The quality of our central midfield has taken a huge hit from gattuso, dorf and Pirlo to the excuses for players we have now (prince aside of course)

He is still with Santos just as Neymar is. No doubt the transfer rumors have died down, but that surely isn't a reason to discredit someone. It should also be noted that as of present he is recovering from knee surgery after yet another injury, so if anything he can be discredited for his fitness & durability but it's still very early in the game to write him off.

I doubt kaka will come, it'll be just like last year. BS BS BS until the end and then they'll panic buy.

But before that happens, i see us selling before making any moves on the market unless theyre free transfers.

Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi decided to keep Thiago Silva after reportedly reading an 18-page document produced by daughter Barbara on why he shouldn’t be sold.

The Diavolo were in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain to sell the Brazilian for over €40m, until Berlusconi blocked the sale.

According to Sport Mediaset, Barbara Berlusconi, who has been a board member at the club since April 2011, was opposed to the transfer.

She presented her father with a dossier which highlighted that letting the South American leave would damage the club in the long run.

Although the outfit’s finances would have been boosted by such a cash injection, she argued that his loss would disappoint fans and sponsors.

It may also have had a detrimental effect to the quality of the team which could then subsequently jeopardise future qualification for the Champions League.

Barbara Berlusconi is currently in a relationship with Rossoneri striker Alexandre Pato.

You go girl!
