It's really depressing. if we sell Silva, I'll find it hard to bring myself to follow Milan. might even give up on football for some time if it's too ****ed up. failing to succeed when you have shown the ambition to win is one thing and acceptable, but not trying to be ambitious anymore is unacceptable and from the way things have been going on since Sheva's sale, I'm afraid Milan is heading toward that direction. that guy said it well, Milan have resigned from being a big club. I defend Allegri but really, he's a nobody. the only reason I stand by him is because we won a title with him and he deserves a second or even third chance just for that. but where are big name coaches? where are big name signings? hell, where's the will to hold on to our stars at least?

He always used to accept the management in their decisions and policies, so much so that it irked the Curva basturds to no end. We have only one captain? But they do seem to have a hundred fathers.

Not a word from the baldie about how the Curva treated Paolo in his last home match. He got a million times better response at Fiorentina in his last Serie A match the next week. We are still practically one of the biggest names in world football, one of the finest brands. At least, the best Italian one by far.

yup but every year we have 60-70 m losses which are covered by finnavest.. So who would invest in a company no matter how big it is if it makes a loss year in year out and to be honest currently cannot compete with top european clubs. Also the situation in which Serie A is it makes it slightly less attractive for investors IMO

In China, Far East and the Middle East. I recall how everyone here was saying we should sign that Japanese midfielder (Honda), I read even Adidas was pushing for the deal.

You bring a guy like him here and you directly tap markets in the Far East. And I know how big of a following Milan has in the Gulf countries, in fact, most of the Middle East. With a passive attitude, we are just going to run around in circles. Sale of Silva is not the end of the world, it never is, but it will be a massive setback nevertheless.

And frankly my accounting is nothing special, but I sure would love to (or love someone else to) crunch the numbers. Do what's necessary, but at least have an (upwards) direction and follow it. I'd be happy with 1m per year players like as long as they give their all, surrounded by one or two stars, than old dinosaurs costing the club 6 or 8 million year in and year out. The family thing should still continue, but it ought to be a two-way street from now on.

Yes, I do see it as a small, personal revenge towards the management. You explained the reasons perfectly. Why else would he try to convince Silva to leave the club he so much loved and fought for during his entire career. It just doesn't add up. If anything, he should have convinced him to stay, not leave. And it's not like Paolo has any managerial role at PSG. Not that we know. Leonardo probably asked him that as a favor.
