We have sunk so low. No money, no incentives, no motivation, nothing. The least we could do was hang to our stars and bring in cheap players to fill in the holes, but now even our best players are leaving. What's going to happen to us? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Yeah, I read the bit about Maldini. Very honorable revenge against Galliani and Berlusconi. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

It's really depressing. if we sell Silva, I'll find it hard to bring myself to follow Milan. might even give up on football for some time if it's too ****ed up. failing to succeed when you have shown the ambition to win is one thing and acceptable, but not trying to be ambitious anymore is unacceptable and from the way things have been going on since Sheva's sale, I'm afraid Milan is heading toward that direction. that guy said it well, Milan have resigned from being a big club. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) from our squads to our managers... I defend Allegri but really, he's a nobody. the only reason I stand by him is because we won a title with him and he deserves a second or even third chance just for that. but where are big name coaches? where are big name signings? hell, where's the will to hold on to our stars at least?

Ruiu: "Only 15-20% of the money earned will be reinvested into signing new players. The difference will go to balancing the debts. It could be possible that Berlusconi's intentions might be to sell the club, in which case investors would never be attracted to a company that has losses. Hence the reason behind Silva's sale".

Just sell the club to some sheikh and let's get it over with. The situation has become unbearable.

Yeah, I read the bit about Maldini. Very honorable revenge against Galliani and Berlusconi.

Revenge? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Considering how much Maldini used to defend these corrupt creatures all these years. He always used to accept the management in their decisions and policies, so much so that it irked the Curva basturds to no end. We have only one captain? But they do seem to have a hundred fathers.

Not a word from the baldie about how the Curva treated Paolo in his last home match. He got a million times better response at Fiorentina in his last Serie A match the next week. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) And like I said, not a word, I'd probably have banned the freaks for the season for doing such a despicable thing. But hey, banning means saying goodbye to the season tickets and we all know how much Berlusconi loves moolah, and how much Galliani is strapped for cash.

Having said that, what surprises me is that you consider this revenge (an honorable one, albeit) against B&G, when in fact, it is not a revenge at all. He was practically begging and complaining in the media that the management has sidelined him (well Galliani mostly). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) I've read everything Paolo has said since he's retired. And worse yet, you think what Pirlo is spewing and doing against us is okay. But a man who wants an opportunity to train young defenders in improving their game is wrong. The only reason Paolo is at PSG is the combo of B&G.

Berlusconi and Galliani should be beaten to within an inch of their lives for this ... then an inch more.

This I can agree with. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Considering our standing, history and prestige, many a rich men would be interested in buying AC Milan and taking us further to other unexplored markets. We are still practically one of the biggest names in world football, one of the finest brands. At least, the best Italian one by far.

With some smart steering, Milan has the potential of becoming one of the biggest elites again.

yup but every year we have 60-70 m losses which are covered by finnavest.. So who would invest in a company no matter how big it is if it makes a loss year in year out and to be honest currently cannot compete with top european clubs. Also the situation in which Serie A is it makes it slightly less attractive for investors IMO

I am aware of this, and I've said it before, there is massive untapped potential still for Milan. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Better than all Italian clubs. In China, Far East and the Middle East. I recall how everyone here was saying we should sign that Japanese midfielder (Honda), I read even Adidas was pushing for the deal.

You bring a guy like him here and you directly tap markets in the Far East. And I know how big of a following Milan has in the Gulf countries, in fact, most of the Middle East. With a passive attitude, we are just going to run around in circles. Sale of Silva is not the end of the world, it never is, but it will be a massive setback nevertheless.

And frankly my accounting is nothing special, but I sure would love to (or love someone else to) crunch the numbers. How come we are earning Top 5 level of coins in club football, but still end up with losses? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Wage bill I know. Slash it down then. Just have a couple of stars, cut the rest down to size.

But nevertheless it would sure be great if an independent and accurate audit is done of all our finances and dealings in the last decade at least. We balance the books with Sheva, we balance the books with Kaka, now we balance the books with Silva and/or Ibra. The books sure do seem like they are begging for a review.

And if someone filthy rich wants to take over and invest a billion or half, then let him. Forget sentimentality if you have to, build your own stadium (even if it is a cheapo for a couple of hundred million) or buy out the San Siro and renovate. More importantly, have a direction. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) If you are in the Top 5 biggest revenue clubs in the world, and still suffering losses, then the top most guys need to have their heads checked.

Do what's necessary, but at least have an (upwards) direction and follow it. I'd be happy with 1m per year players like as long as they give their all, surrounded by one or two stars, than old dinosaurs costing the club 6 or 8 million year in and year out. The family thing should still continue, but it ought to be a two-way street from now on.

Yes, I do see it as a small, personal revenge towards the management. You explained the reasons perfectly. Why else would he try to convince Silva to leave the club he so much loved and fought for during his entire career. It just doesn't add up. If anything, he should have convinced him to stay, not leave. And it's not like Paolo has any managerial role at PSG. Not that we know. Leonardo probably asked him that as a favor.

Mediaset has dedicated an article to Dedè, 24 years old CB of Vasco de Gama, which our management have chosen as Silva's replacement. He costs €12 million, and is considered the strongest defender in Brazil at the moment.

Even if we brought Pique or Ramos to replace Silva, it would not make me any less sadder, let alone this guy. Damn it! Sell Ibra, not Thiago. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
