QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jun 11 2012, 10:59 PM) We can wait all we want, but we already know how it's going to end. How can you be so sure? And why jump the conclusion, what's the point?

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jun 12 2012, 01:56 AM) Let's wait, can't we for Christ sake?? Frankly, the management should have said by now that hands-off of Silva. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) To all interested parties. Even for Ibra. But instead the sick idiot comes up with 99.9% statement. Knowing Galliani, if that isn't a sign of concern then I don't know what is. Like I said, just turn what the serial liar is saying upside down, and you get reality. At this point in time, I say it's it's 99.9% done that he is leaving. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) Going by my earlier theory about Fester. Unless the management comes out and says that we are categorically not selling our most prized asset, but instead will be strengthening the club to aim higher and stay competitive. But instead, Galliani seems (to me at least) that he is in the mood of entertaining various offers.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jun 11 2012, 02:30 PM) TMW also suggests that we have already identified his replacement: Dedè of Vasco de Gama, for which we've already offered €12 million + bonus. Who??! QUOTE (KillerMax @ Jun 11 2012, 02:46 PM) We are a selling club and open for business. +1 (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Jun 12 2012, 02:18 AM) Well, Milan cant offer him a 12M contract I guess. That is also a catalyst. That is understandable, I don't think we can afford to give him 8m even. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) And that too, after he wins something big with us, in which case we can up his current contract to 6 or higher. But this kind of stuff will happen all the time, I am reasonably sure Silva is the type of individual that cares more about values than money. If the management sat down with him and convinced him to stay for another few years, he would. But instead, at least from the way how it seems right now, Galliani once again wants to go shopping by cashing out. Similar to how he tried with Pato last year. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Only difference is that this offer for Silva seems very very solid. The type Fester doesn't like to miss out on. Then again, he may yet stay, his sale is not written in stone. Yet.

QUOTE (drucurl @ Jun 12 2012, 02:40 AM) I'm speaking from the standpoint of the aftermath of his sale Oh okay. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) Figured it after I made my post, but then again, there won't be much after his sale. If it happens, and we skip out on getting a defender almost as good as him, we'll be back to the days of 2008. Leaking goals at the back match in and match out. And now there's no Nesta to count on as well. Sure the management can fill out the back with the various Astoris and Zapatas of the world, but unless we can settle on a leader of the defense, we're just going to find it hard to keep it watertight. And it's not like we have the best keepers in the world either. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) More is bound to revealed in the coming days, but I'd much happily sell Ibra. It's not like the Swede is going to be here for ever, anyway. Cash in now and invest half of it on another striker.

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jun 11 2012, 11:04 PM) How can you be so sure? And why jump the conclusion, what's the point? Galliani's exact statement some days ago was: "We won't be selling our champions. Ibra and Thiago will stay 99,9% with us, unless a crazy offer arrives...". And that crazy offer has indeed arrived; €50 million for the club and €12 million per season for the player. All the media are reporting it. At first, the club doesn't react. No statement of denial from the official website, nor any word from the management. Then Galliani avoids the issue by neither confirming nor denying the deal. And finally the statement from Milan Channel which pronounces the negotiations officially opened. You see, there are little doubts about it anymore. I know anything can happen and we might end up not selling Thiago, but really, at this point the chances of that happening are very, very slim.

Do you think that if I had the choice I'd opt for the best defender in the world to leave us? I'd sell iBra for a nice crate of bananas/air if I could (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
