What's up with Giaccherini starting FFS?

And is that really a 3-5-2 formation with Motta as one of the 3 in defense?

A 3 man defense with 2 out of the 3 being idiots. This is going to get ugly... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Iniesta, Silva and Cesc could do enough damage...

I don't think it really matters for them if a striker is playing. That midfield could run rings around the likes of Giaccherini, Motta and Bonucci

Still, you would expect at least one pure striker.

Still, a goal for them will most likely be easier to come by than for Italy.

Anyway, here's to hoping for at least a good showing that gives the Azzurri hope for the rest of the group.

And let's see if this 3 man defense BS blows up in Prandelli's face big time. I think we all saw how it could backfire when it's up against top quality opposition with Napoli, and not your regular run of the mill mid-table teams

No, Motta will play as CM alongside Pirlo and Marchisio. The defenders will be Bonucci, De Rossi and Chiellini.

Who would have thought that Italy's best defender would be De Rossi? The others are mostly playing like headless chickens when Spain get into the box.

This 3 man defence thing neees to he scrapped ASAP

Mario Balotelli the first from Italy to get a yellow card. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/friends.gif) Who'd have thought otherwise! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Idioto.
