Yeah. It's just too convenient for the media. The big scudetto favourites 'crashed and burned' despite their star player's best efforts and the entire spine of the team has upped and left the team hence it MUST be the coach. They don't even have a single quote from a 'confidential source' in the dressing room! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

QUOTE Ibrahimovic: 'No money at Milan' By Football Italia staff
Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he will stick with Milan, although “there is no money to buy the players we need. Anything can happen.”
The Rossoneri and agent Mino Raiola had denied stories he was increasingly unhappy at San Siro after missing out on the Scudetto.
“Milan’s problem is economic,” Ibra declared in a press conference on international duty with Sweden.
“There is no money to buy five players, or even the ones we need. We made a couple of signings, maybe there will be a third.”
Riccardo Montolivo and Bakaye Traoré have both been snapped up on free transfers.
“I guess it’s true that the longer you play together, the more you improve. Just look at Chelsea, who won the Champions League although they were not the strongest team.”
However, Zlatan reacted angrily when asked if that meant rumours of him seeking a transfer were true.
“Without those, you’d have nothing to write about. I am happy at Milan and will respect my contract.
“Anything can happen, but at the moment nothing has happened. I will respect my contract.” FAIL.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jun 5 2012, 05:26 PM) Zlatan Ibrahimovic ● All 35 Goals ● 2011-2012It's quite unbelievable we didn't win the scudetto with such a season from him. It's because all other departments were greatly lacking. It's mostly down to Ibra that we held so strong throughout. Losing Thiago in that Roma game for the useless Barca tie was the turning point in the season. We barely could line-up 11 players on the pitch at some points, that Roma game was the straw that broke the very tired camel's back in the end. If we do get in some re-inforcements this summer, Allegri needs to freshen up some of the tactics. We're too one dimensional, and most importantly the results against the top sides need to improve greatly. They must be on a par with the results we achieved under Allegri in his first season where we basically swept every top side away, both home and away

QUOTE (han2503 @ Jun 6 2012, 12:54 AM) If we do get in some re-inforcements this summer, Allegri needs to frechen up some of the tactics. You missed an "n" there, I reckon. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) But seriously, I am not sure he will. Unless we get some new players with drastically different characteristics. If not, then I believe he will continue with his tactics that landed him 1st and 2nd place finishes in two years. Then again, I also believe there is a decent chance Ibra could be sold. I mean, not everyday you get offers like 40m for an over-30 player, and who knows, Ibra may want out.

Yeah, it doesn't look that way. In fact, I expect no reset or step forward, but just the same and plain old tactic he's been presenting as Milan's way for all of last season.

At this point, I'm willing to look the other way a bit if he's given this squad for next season. It's not like he has many options other than Monto! If he does get some good players, especially into that midfield and we have another disappointing season, then it's out the door for him @ acid, Why did you have to be the one to see that before I edited the typo??!!!

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And deep down inside I am sure Allegri believes that (and he isn't wrong, in my opinion) that with some better luck and fewer injuries he'd have won the Scuedetto this year too. He had the setup going for it, which while I may not agree with in terms of how the club should be playing, but it landed him a lot of points. The players were there to win the title, just the luck and fitness were missing. So no reason for him to change. QUOTE (han2503 @ Jun 6 2012, 01:10 AM) @ acid, Why did you have to be the one to see that before I edited the typo??!!! Um, because, I'm me? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Seriously, it was just a matter of seconds, I just got lucky. QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jun 6 2012, 01:27 AM) I thought he put a C instead of an S. Correct. That he did, and then edited it out. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) But I was thinking Frenchen up his tactics. Typos do happen, they can happen with me, and I don't normally edit them out. It's perfectly fine. but when Han makes a mistake, it's always fun to smudge it up on his face. That's an opportunity I can't miss.
