Friend, Seedorf against Real doesn't worry me that much as Allegri does. In my opinion as long as he's the coach we won't have a real shot in the CL, with or without Seedorf.

Better to have only Allegri holding us back than both him and Seedorf.

Seedorf has never held us back in the CL.

In the Serie A against the little teams that park the bus, sure. He doesn't have the pace and we don't need to keep the ball and regain position.

But when we're outgunned I trust Seedorf to hold the fort. We need someone with intelligence and confidence in that mid-field. SOmeone who's been there and done that.

And this is me going on about playing matters, I'm not even bringing up the huge impact he could have in the dressing room.

But in the end this is the coach's decision. I would prefer the influence of someone like Seedorf over our younger team mates than someone like Ibra. But if the coach feels Seedorf hampers his ideas getting through, then he has to go.

Sorry, but I can't agree. In the CL the intensity and pace of the game is at very high levels. You need people who can run endlessly for 90 minutes, who can work their butts off and never lose their grip. Seedorf could barely last 30 minutes against Barcelona. I really can't understand how you all talk about experience when we have a 36-y-o player in our hands that simply can't cut it anymore.

Perhaps Ganso or Eriksen or someone will be made available in 2013 and at a decent price. Maybe there is even a backdoor agreement. Perhaps we need to save the cash till then.

There's only 3 CL spots left for Serie A and we must finish in the top 3 next season. NOT 2013, next season! doesn't make any sense delaying one of our most important signings for another season. if we finish outside the top 3, no top player would come then anyway. too much of a risk.

Secure a top quality replacement and THEN offer Seedorf to stay another year. no one will complain...

... mainly because Seedorf won't stay to warm the bench anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Which is pretty much the whole point.

What if we retained Aquilani and got Montolivo, yet Allegri starts Seedorf against Barcelona?

Then that's another reason why he shouldn't stay.

Highly unlikely at this point... To both 'What If' scenarios

The mans leaving, a little respect for a legend who didnt walk out on you ala Pirlo to juve. He stays one more season, who cares theres Montolivo, and by your standards Montolivo has more to offer, hence no need to worry.

With that said, I hope he does leave this summer, for obvious reasons.

What did I say that was offensive?

I said it was highly unlikely that Allegri would start Seedorf against Barca. And that it's highly unlikely that Aquilani will be staying.

I personally appreciate all of Seedorf's contributions, the good and the bad. Because the bad just made us acknowledge how amazing the good parts of his game could be. But at this point him staying would be a step backwards for us and a missed opportunity for him.

He could choose highly lucrative deals in other countries where he could once again be an undisputed king amongst his team mates in smaller leagues. He could go enjoy the high life in Brazil, or retire in the US, get fat eating great food. Whatever he wants. Staying at Milan would only mean a year on the bench for him unless there is a dire injury situation

He's 36. Unless he plans to play until he's 40 or something, this might very well be hist last year in professional football. If he really feels like he can still give something, he should play where his contribution will be valued. Clearly that place is not Milan, anymore.

I'm not that sure if it is a majority. But anyway. It's up to Zee, Galliani and Allegri.
