Well I'm no fan of the man, man. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) I like what he brings, but he doesn't bring it very often against bigger sides. Or at least in Europe, at least. So if Ibra stays, I don't mind. But if we can do one better, then I'll be all for it. It does cost us a tidy sum to keep him here, anyway. But if Madrid, City or Chelsea come asking...

How could you agree with this?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Just how? "...we are mature enough to fight until the very end".

What should he tell them? That the second place is their best chance? They are only two points away from us. The title is within their reach, regardless of everything else.

Well they of all people should know that the only reason they are still up in the title race is because of the turds that turn up as referees in Serie A matches. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) Had it been not for them, Milan would have been out of reach. Of course, I don't expect him to tell this to the team, but they should still know it deep down, those actors.

Then there is the issue of maturity. I've seen little to none of it from Juventus coach or management.

Maturity in terms of game and results. And they've clearly grown in that aspect.

And no, regardless of how they've reached second place, a manager must always keep his players concentrated and motivated. Frankly, what you're saying makes no sense to me.

Guys, this is a Serie A game, not a Coppa Italia match against a second division team. We need to field the best possible line-up, especially now that we don't have any other competitions worry about.

Maturity, only when they want to. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) When they don't they behave like thugs and street rats.

Agreed, mtl, that midfield just looks like trouble to me, Muntari acts like a r@t@rd most of the time, I'm sorry to have to say that, but he does. He's just not good enough, especually in that scenario when he'd have to be the leader in that midfield.

We only have Serie A left to focus on. That means going out for these last few matches at 100%, with our best line-ups, no excuses.

Agreed with this bit. Juve have shown this season that when they are winning and doing well they're gracious, but when things don't go their way they throw tantrums. It's typical Conte behaviour and it's spread throughout the entire Club, which is what's making them so dispacble for me, thus my serious hate factor towards them this season

Elementary. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) No excuses at all.

+1. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) I still have all the shenanigans Juventus pulled this season, on and off the field, running through my head.

Both Gazzetta and Mediaset have Emanuelson starting as AM. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

So, what's new? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) There is little difference between Emanuelson and Boateng, apart from the fact that the later is more physical, better built and obviously faster. If anything, Allegri gives Emanuelson more brownie point considering he's made the place his own over the season.

Now, whether both of them are creative enough to be the AMs of a club like ours is another matter, altogether.

Apart from Boateng being a much better player?

I think there will be some rotation because of the midweek game.

Exactly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) When you add the three things I listed about Boateng, he is a better player by default. Only way Emanuelson can compete with him (due to his physical shortcomings) is by being much more creative, visionary and being able to create goal-scoring opportunities almost at will.

We all know he has pretty much failed here in these regards. In a perfect world, he'd barely be bench material.

I don't get it. Why this maturity talk. It's a motivational speech dammit, not an official statement. I've heard coaches holler superlatives and diminutives all the time, they don't connect with reality/the real state of things, but their point is to motivate even the worst and the best. So why make a big deal out of it? Who knows what Mazzari, Don Fabio or any other coach yells in the dress room?
