It wasn't too bad today to be honest. Gullit is the obvious choice for Milan games and I don't mind him, then Stelling is always good value and is never disrespectful to anyone (but Hartlepool!) so it was fine.

Milan were not perfect upfront, especially in the first half where the oppositions' defenders were frightened by our attacking potential. We lost chances, and did not try hard enough to get more balls through the center .. I blame Aquilani, on PES he would have the red upside-down arrow. All in all, the first half seemed like a practice session.

Second half, the team came out super-confident as if this game was already won .. After they drew, it was already too late, BATE played with heart and though they didn't have the technical ability, they had to run a lot and press hard. They played as if it was a final, however Milan played and attacked for 93 minutes.

We have 8 points, Barca will get to 10 points, we will respectively qualify after this round .. Moreover a 2 point difference means we have to win at San Siro against them.

Pathetic. Especially our "first choice" LB Taiwo. Give him time - sure - but I knew this would happen with him. He was solid at Marseille, but for us he's no good.

I know how you feel bro, but I'll give him sometime. He hasn't really played in consistency with us and he doesn't speak the language that good. However, he needs to work on his defensive game a lot more .. If not, then he's no good for us.

Yes, agreed, but really stuffing Barcelona in their home, and then losing (I know it was a draw yesterday) to a team that's probably not even Serie A quality is for me, how do I say it, as un-dashing as it comes. Frankly though, I don't think we'll be winning the big ear for another few years.

I must say, I don't care that much. Dashing or un-dashing, the BATE game to me was less important then a Coppa match.

It doesn't matter whether we win it or not. We must excel as much as possible in the Champions League, both for the UEFA points and for the appeal.
