I assume its just a strategic decision to try to keep Zambrotta fresh over the course of the season after midweek European games. I can't imagine Allegri straight out prefers Bonera... especially after the stinker he laid against Cesena as a RB.

This lineup really worries me. Boateng better run his butt off covering back or we're going to be in trouble. Pirlo and Seedorf together in the midfield is a serious liability. If I'm Catania I've been preaching to my team all week that Milan can be hit on the counter attack and showing them the Cesena tape. This lineup would have played right into my hands. The key, yet again, will be whether the wingers (Ronaldinho and Ibra) get back to help. We can't have 3 guys standing around up top and 7 guys trying to defend 8 attacking players. That looks to me like a Maxi Lopez brace. No idea where our width comes from on attack either. Antonini and Bonera aren't much help there and who will cover their runs? Seedorf? Trouble. Perhaps the game plan is to have Boateng actually stay in a holding role in midfield and rely on our attackers to come through with a moment of individual brilliance?

This game could either go to Milan 5 - 0 Catania or Milan 0 - 3 Catania.

He's not on the bench so yes he's injured.

Bonera surely is happy that we have a new coach. So far he's starting in every game.

I really hope it's just to keep Zambro fresh and we are not going to make Bonera our starting RB.

Pippo + Ibra should be interesting to see.

2 very selfish strikers playing next to each other, very interesting (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)

I think he picked up a knock against Auxerre, in fact he went into the dressing rooms when the game ended limping. I think it's just a precaution

Selfish but lethal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/96.gif)

Sure it's not ideal but Ibra can aslo play a withdrawn role.

Too but Robinho's injury came now. With Pato out, he had a chance to blend in early and get a good run in the starting 11.
