QUOTE (Fishdoll @ May 6 2010, 12:26 PM) *
Tuttomercatoweb has an interesting statistic about Nesta:

WITH Nesta, Milan has played 29 games with 16 wins, 8 draws, and 5 losses, with an average of 1.93 points a game, scoring 49 goals and conceding 30.

WITHOUT Nesta, Milan has played 17 games with 6 wins, 5 draws, and 6 losses, with an average of 1.35 points a game, scoring 20 goals and conceding 24.

So Milan concede more goals with Nesta than without? Who would've guessed...

You're actually right, but it was more of a lazy observation on my part than a serious observation.

That .6 points per match seems like a pretty telling statistic to me.

Nesta is essential to Milan. Pato is very important, too. I wonder what will happen if they stay healthy all season long.

He's out about a week, Amelia to blame! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Well this season if Nesta is out we have decent replacement. As opposed to last season where it was either Favalli or a constantly injured Bonera.

Hopefully the Ben Arfa deal goes through. So we can have some actualy depth in attack, not just Dinho and Pato, and 3 strikers who can only play in the same position (head of the attack)

Jesus, what's your problem? Nesta will be ready by the start of the season, so calm the hell down.

lack of dida, which in result has led to the heavy usage of drugs and alcohol. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Is it just me, or does it seem like the relationship between the Milan Ultras and the normal Milan fans is a lot worse than with, say, Inter/Roma/Lazio Ultras and their 'normal' fans?
